We chose this hotel for 3 nights and were pleased with our stay. The weather during our time in Krabi was changeable and having a small pool with a fantastic view and comfortable lounge chairs, along with a reasonably priced bar/restaurant meant we did not feel trapped in our room nor did we waste days when the weather was not good enough to go island hopping or to the beach. Perhaps the only downside was twice during our stay we had to argue with the bar staff about happy hour prices not being honored on our bill despite orders having been placed at the right time - but it was quickly rectified.
The room we had was nicely decorated and had the fridge, A/C and decent free Wifi. The only niggle was a slight sewer odour in the bathroom but we think it was a general plumbing issue. Closing the bathroom door did the trick.
Staff were friendly and efficient. They were very busy during breakfast but turned orders around quickly and always with a smile. Reception staff were also very helpful and polite.
One thing to note: the photos on the website show rooms at the very back of the property and those rooms may have been more expensive or for long stay. We had a room closer to the reception, the outside of which did not look like the photos but inside was better. It was slightly smaller than expected. However, we still got a great deal and we found hanging out by the pool to be the most relaxing part of our holiday and a very good alternative to active days we spent on the boats traveling to other islands.
This area of Ao Nang is in the outskirts, further away from the beach but we had no problems with the short walk and found the restaurants near the hotel to be reasonably priced and good value. You really can find everything you need at your doorstep as soon as you step out of the hotel.
