We stayed here for 4 nights and really have to rate this place with excellent. We have been lucky and got an upgrade when we arrived. The hotel area is very green with a nice setup between pool area and restaurant/bar. Big rooms, bed, bathroom and terrace in very condition so you feel like being at home. Fantastic breakfast with a huge variety and very friendly and efficient staff. It's a bit off the beach area but then again only 10 minutes walking also to all bars and restaurants. The pool area is beautiful, hence also an option to stay here the entire day.

Lovely lovely gardens and nice breakfast spread.

It is located just off the main road which is perfect. You are near the shops and beach but yet in a secluded place with all the tranquility you desire during a vacation.

Parking was provided in front of the lobby. We drove from Singapore. The drive was very pleasant and now we can't wait to do the drive from Singapore to Bangkok.

I liked this "jungle" resort hotel at the western end of Ao Nang for the following reasons :

- Good location, on the quieter (western) side of town
- Very close to lots of restaurants / bars / shops
- Only 5-10 mins walk to the longboat station (for boat trips to the islands)
- Great "jungle" feel to the resort, with loads of trees / shrubs
- Nice rooms / comfortable bed
- Liked the use of beach-mats / beach towels
- Lots of different nationalities (Finnish, German, Australian, Japanese, Malaysian …) which was fun
- Lots of different ages and mix of people (ie. young couples, group of singles, young families, retired folk)

But … these are the things I didn't like :

- Our original room, in the main reception block, was quite dark and the view from the balcony was a large brown rooftop (really horrrid)

- If you were in one of the villas (chalets), at the top, you'd have a steep walk to your room. I spoke to one lady whose family were in a villa right at the very top of the hill and that was a walk of over 150 steps! That is a lot of steps, especially when it is hot (and humid)

- No Wi-Fi in the rooms. You had to walk to the bar area (or an outside area) to access WiFi

- At breakfast a lot of the tables on the wooden decking shook violently every time someone walked nearby!

- Swimming Pool - a nice enough pool, but it is so shallow that you can't actually swim in the first third of the pool and even standing at the "deep" end, you are only up to your chest.
The pool overlooked a rather unattractive electric pylon and wires and the pool parasols were really quite dirty (with mould?)

- The pool attendants were pleasant enough, but seemed to sit around chatting or looking at their mobiles half the time. They should be going round, asking if anyone wanted a drink. And if anyone went to ask them for a menu, they should be more proactive and follow up on this (ie. see if you wanted to order food, rather than wait until you went to ask them). They also hadn't a clue about the ingredients of Cocktails and Mocktails. I wanted to know what a Krabi Sunset consisted of and was told the main menu with ingredients was to be found in the bar downstairs - ahh !!

It was OK for 5 days but I wouldn't want to stay here again.

I stayed at the Pakasai Resort for 4 days 3 nights. It is not far away from the main street that it is convenient for shopping and eating. The services are good and all the staff are polite and helpful. For the bedrooms, it is tidy and clean. I like the bathtub in the balcony that I can enjoy the sunny bath in the afternoon. Moreover, I like the beautiful swimming pool and I also love the buffet breakfast
