We learned of the place through a random brochure that we saw in the hostel. The actual place did not disappoint. What makes it convenient is the free shuttle service within Aonang (you can easily request for your hostel manager to call up) and to specify a time or reservation. The view is beautiful and one should try to make it there by 4-5pm as the sun sets quite quickly.
Food-wise, the menu offers standard Thai fare and local favourites that are worth a try. There are a few less spicy options as well, but by and large, it is a local menu and quite good. The range of drinks are also fairly good, which slightly higher prices than some other bars but only marginally and worth the extra for the ambiance.
Details wise, the music is live at points and soothing enough. What sets this place apart is the location and the laid-back vibe that tourists can indulge in when they turn up, without worries as to getting there and back to their hotels/hostels.
