We're creating a wide selection of homemade products, such like pastas (thirteen different kind!!!), pizzas, breads, desserts, fresh tomato sauce and many other delightfully specialties. The owner, Mr. Franco has been working in restaurants all over the country (Italy) since he was only thirteen years old, now he's almost forty-four and he build up Azzurra menu according to the experience he get in the last fourteen years passed in Ao Nang, always putting attention to dishes popularity and customer’s requests. Azzurra is located at the center of the Ao Nang Beach Promenade, very easy to find since the walking way is only 500 meter long. Franco and Azzurra's staff welcome you every days, come to visit us and try the Italian in our way...The Manager, Mr. Franco Russo. We also would like to inform our guest that we do not accept any kind of credit card, thank you.

“Delicious italian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

We've tried the salad with mozzarella and pesto, which was very good and also two pasta dishes: spinach and ricotta tortellini and 4 cheese gnocchi, both of them were also very good, its homemade pasta and the sauces were tasty and very Italian. The place is nice, although a little bit hot. It's more to expensive than to cheap, but worth, especially if you want to change from thai food a bit. House red wine is good too and the ice cream is great. We recommend Azzurra.

“Best in Ao nang”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Great food (the best italian we came across in Krabi). The view is gorgeous and the service and prices are reasonable. The Italain Owner?? seems to take great pride in his restaurant and this is reflected in the food and very nice (albeit hot) ambience.

“Great food, genuine italian restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

We ate here after reading the reviews on this site. The restaurant was busy every time we ate here and the pizza and pasta dishes we tried were really tasty, as was the house red wine. Franco is a very genuine guy and this is a family run business, he really cares about the quality of his food and whether customers enjoy their meals. We ate here four or five times during our stay.

“Poor service.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Me and my wife stoped at azzura as it looked cozy.
After ordering a bruschetta for starter and spaghetti carbonara and a pizza for maincourse.
45 min later the starter came, and i then asked how long to main course, because guest how arrived later then us were all ready eaten and gone.
They had forgot our food.
Any sorry sir?

30 min later my wife got her pasta.
15 min after that i recived my burned pizza, totally uneatable.
I told the the italian Guy how is the manager, that im not paying for this, he dosent answer me, just take the pizza and walk away.

So we spent 1,5h on this poor place and 1000 bath we had to pay for, 1 glas red wine, 1 soda, 1 bruschetta and 1 carbonara.
Not recomended!

“best italian in town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

this place serves fresh pasta and the gellato is really good too, it is obvoiusly a high quality restaurant, if a little on the expensive side, which is something i am not complaining about, as the restaurant is located right in the middle of Ao nang beach, so must pay a fortune in rent, for a more affordable italian, try the spaghetti house, 600 metres inland away from the beach
