“Re: Nice food worth for spending”

Me and my friend have a great dinner time at the Lae Lay Grill. Just give the restaurant staff a call and they will arrange the transport to pick you up on time and dropped you off after finished dinning. So, they pick us up from hotel and we requested them to dropped us off at the Ao Nang Shopping street. Ha~~ha~~

The atmosphere surround the restaurant is good where the restaurant situated on hillside about 140 feet above the sea level overlooking the Krabi Ao Nang Bay.

The offer quite a number of dishes from starter until the F&B for us to choose. All in the reasonable prices. We have ordered:

1. A19 Mermaid for our starter: It taste so special and really warmed us up which only cost THB 150.

2. S02 Tom Yam Goong (Small for 2pax): You will definitely not disappointing with this soup real thai style cooking. Cost THB 95 only. Taste much better and original then the one we dine at Ao Nang Beach & Bar Restaurant.

3. M30 Lobster BBQ with white wine cost us THB 1280. yumm~~the most expensive order on our bill.

4. M39 Prawns with soya and garlic at THB 420. Wow, after eating this.

and lastly we order James Bond cocktail and 2 mango shake. Bill: THB2295 + 17% tax and services charge = Total Charge THB 2701.22.

They really offer Great Place, Great Taste and Great View just like their slogan. We will definitely missed the great food we have with Lae Lay Grill because i like cuisine which give surprise and refreshing cooking style then you may hardly find else where.

A chalet on a hillside above Ao Nang, huge open kitchen where you can see the food being cooked, excellent service, seafood specials.

“Good food and variety of international and thai”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

It's good place for your dinner. There is hotel pick up service (if you have no car), variety choices of food but still delicious and good service of restaurant. However, if you prefer to see the view, I think you need to book the seats near corridor.

“Best Restaurant in Ao Nang”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

We ate in this restaurant three times on our two week honeymoon and it was fantastic on each occasion. It stands head and shoulders above the rest for service and food quality. It is a great location on top of a hill and you are welcomed as soon as you arrive. It is bait more expensive than other places but worth every penny. I would thoroughly recommend it.

“Unique experience, great view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

We went here to eat after sunset drinks at the Hilltop. Food was more expensive than most places, which we expected and probably worth it for the fun, unique experience of eating here. View is great, decor is trehousey and nice and kinda fun, drinks were tasty. Food was ok, nothing special really, but we didn't get the big seafood platter. The prawns roasted with glass noodles were lacking in moisture and flavor and not that special. The basic stir fry dish was good but again, not as good as most more local and cheaper places we had eaten on the trip.
