“The place to eat to see the sunset”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

A chalet on a hillside above Ao Nang, huge open kitchen where you can see the food being cooked, excellent service, seafood specials.

“Good food and variety of international and thai”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

It's good place for your dinner. There is hotel pick up service (if you have no car), variety choices of food but still delicious and good service of restaurant. However, if you prefer to see the view, I think you need to book the seats near corridor.

“Best Restaurant in Ao Nang”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

We ate in this restaurant three times on our two week honeymoon and it was fantastic on each occasion. It stands head and shoulders above the rest for service and food quality. It is a great location on top of a hill and you are welcomed as soon as you arrive. It is bait more expensive than other places but worth every penny. I would thoroughly recommend it.

“Unique experience, great view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013 via mobile

We went here to eat after sunset drinks at the Hilltop. Food was more expensive than most places, which we expected and probably worth it for the fun, unique experience of eating here. View is great, decor is trehousey and nice and kinda fun, drinks were tasty. Food was ok, nothing special really, but we didn't get the big seafood platter. The prawns roasted with glass noodles were lacking in moisture and flavor and not that special. The basic stir fry dish was good but again, not as good as most more local and cheaper places we had eaten on the trip.

“Wish we've never gone!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Not a good nite! Gave it a go on my fellow tripadvisor's reports. Yes up on the hill, and prob if u go early do catch a sunset but it stops there. Mediocrity starts: Tom ka (soup) full of woody lemongrass, soft cell crab pleasant, John Dory well breaded but edible. Then the pice of resistance -grouper with plum sauce: salty as hell (I eat salty by the way) fish cooked from frozen, u know that rubbery taste and texture! Grouper was a pooper! Staff roaming around you, made me feel uncomfortable. Decor: slightly tatty, nothing special. Price? No guesses here - very expensive for what you had! Ruined our evening, we made a special trip to this restaurant from a neighbouring town. Wish we've never gone! Would not recommend it.
