“Quite poor service for being so popular, but food is good and menu extensive!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

Although the food here was good, the service is not. I think they are way understaffed for how many people crowd in here day in and day out.
Another negative is that, I know I shouldn’t say this, because Thailand is not an English speaking country, but there is only one staff member who can speak English. This just surprises me because of how many English speakers come here. I feel sorry for the poor girl as she is running around like crazy while her colleagues stand around as they can’t help her.

The positive sides are that their menu is very extensive and you can get just about anything you want. The food is good too, cooked well, and tastes great. I think we would probably come back, but perhaps at a time when there are fewer customers.

Beware of their toilet seats, when we were there, I lifted one up to go to the bathroom and the seat fell off.

Anyway, a decent place, good location as it is in the crowded area of Ao Nang, great food, extensive menu, but they need to work on the service and perhaps hire a few more staff that can speak a bit of English.

“Great Thai food and service with a smile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Jeanette's is another of our favourite places to eat or simply have a drink when in Aonang. Food is fresh and authentic, drinks are cold, and prices are very reasonable. The staff are also really friendly and the atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. Highly recommend it!

“Mixed bag...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

I enjoyed a late breakfast there once and another time went for lunch and was disappointed. Also I found the service to be poor, very lethargic staff. Also more pricey than the other eateries at the strip.

“Actually liked the pizza, though it's different!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

This was one of the places we went to get a pizza. We don't eat much pizza anymore, but thought we'd give one a go since there seemed to be so many places serving it in town.

They are like many of the restaurants here, and try to cater to everyone. Trying to please everyone, like in so many other areas of life, is usually a recipe for pleasing hardly anyone, as you can tell by the range of reviews here.

We went ahead and ordered the pizza and I was pleasantly surprised. The crust was similar to a soft flour tortilla in thickness and texture, which may sound strange, but was actually pretty good. It made the meal more about the toppings, which were yummy and not overdone, than trying to put away a half-pound of dough. As a fan of thick-crusted pizza as a general rule, I was very happy with it.

You could eat here every day and have food from a different country all week, but I can't tell you how the rest of it was.

I did enjoy the pizza though.
