“Lovely boutique hotel with a nice pool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

This hotel was pretty nice overall. Not too large, and not too noisy (with hoards of people running around). Rooms were larger than expected, bathrooms were clean (and quite well maintained). Every room has a view of the pool, and rooms at the ground floor have direct access to the pool via the 'balcony' area. Pool is salt water (or was salty to me) - kind of cool.

Overall a very nice hotel to stay.

Breakfast was pretty average though, and free WiFi is only available in the lobby area.

Great restaurants down the road (go down the road, turn right, a few tasty restaurants - try "E-San Seafood and Thai Restaurant" well priced tasty food).

Room Tip: Rooms away from the elevator shaft seem to be less noisy

Rooms are clean and spacious.
The hotel provide motorbikes, 200 Bht for 24 hours.
The swimmingpool was nice but not so big.
Prices are acceptable.
Hotel is siuated about 300 metres from the mainroad to the city.

The service, location and facilities provided by the hotel was very good. It was not lacking in any form, maybe it doesnt have resort like space, but that hardly matters as we have a very friendly staff and rooms very well equipped.
We had a problem with the safe which was not fitted very well and upon complaining within 2 minutes we had the necessary staff who mended it promptly and gave it to us. The hotel also helps you in various tourist activities you wish to undertake or spa services. Although there are plenty of options in the street where the hotel is situated for you to go out and figure out the best option for you within your budget.

We stayed there only for two nights, but upon leaving we wished we could have planned on staying for few days more.

Good location, service, had the necessary facilities to make this hotel a good choice for value. Got the room at promo USD 50 and was able to add an extra bed at USD 25. Interesting pool concept, especially for those staying at level 1. Did not have a fitness corner but managed to find a gym at the resort diagonally opposite it (they charge just THB 200 per use). Breakfast selection was reasonable but was varied throughout the 4 days we ate there. The resort is built around a cluster of other resorts, with a few still under construction (but did not pose any inconvenience or disturbance during our stay there) and I believe the area will be livelier when all is built up in 1-2 years' time? There are several convenience stores as you walk out and they are selling at a slightly more expensive price than what you get in the main beach area, which is just a short 5-10 minute walk from the resort.

Room Tip: If you are a pool-lover, try the the first level rooms.

Everythings was great.
The service in the hotel was fast and efficient.
The staff smile always to their customer.
The swimming pool was the best thing ever.

But there have quite lot of mosquito flying around your room.
The massage service that hotel provided is expensive than outside. Try the town area massage centre. You may end up saving 50 baht.

We enjoyed our stay in Krabi and Aree Tara Resort was a good choice.

The rooms are clean and confortable and the breakfast is good. You are a little walk away from the action but it is a 5 - 8 minute walk or 1-2 minute ride. There are tuk-tuks at the door and it should be about a dollar to get into town.

The people working there were kind and Krabi is definitely a place to visit. This hotel is a good starting point since it was comfortable, clean, and the staff was great.
