I have been going to this great hotel for the last 2 years ( 1-2 weeks every month) and I can guarantee that every single detail (facilities, food, decoration, etc) has been made with care and love.
Everything there is " first class"!
You will get a beautiful room with a great bed and lovely decoration.
In the morning you will also get a great breakfast made by the professional chef Arjan, where everything is fresh and delicious.
It is ideal for any kind of travel, business, family, couple...
The village and the arounds are also charming.

I stayed in this B&B for 4 days, in August, together with 2 of my children. The welcome was warm and we got a very good explanation of the room. The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. There was a comfortable large double bed and a single bed you could get into via a wooden ladder. The bathroom was small but adequate. When you come to this hotel, make sure you bring your earplugs with you: there is a bell tower about 25 m from your hotel room which bells every 30 minutes! Don't use this as an argument not to come here, because the location is great for doing various outdoor activities like renting a boat (do your own tour on the small canals) or bicycles to explore the region, wich has some stunning scenic views, windmills etc. There is also a museum close by explaining how this region has been transformed from water into land. Nearby are cities like Hoorn where you can enjoy many activities/museums, too. Coming back to the B&B: breakfast was really good: fresh and tasteful bread, fresh fruit with yoghurt, home-made jelly, eggs prepared as you like etc. The B&B also had a nice terrace adjacent to one of these small canals, really relaxing.
In case we will be visiting the Beemster region of Holland again, we certainly will come back to this B&B.

Room Tip: Make sure you take earplugs with you to improve the sleep quality.

At first glance this appears to be a quaint bed and breakfast in a picturesque setting. Unfortunately the experience was spoiled by the the inn keeper who made it clear that our attitude should be one of thanks that we had the honor of staying in his inn, not one of service. The breakfast was tasty but unimaginative. The rooms were clean, but did not have screens on the windows - the inn keeper didn't care that it was hot and forbid us to open the windows because bugs would fly in. To top matters off, he did not honor the written price gaurantee that we were given when we booked. As nice is this "books cover" may seem, this surly, condescending, rip-off artist does not deserve your business!!
