Ended up eating here by chance, had a drive out to Lymm to pick up an item of clothing a friend had left at the hotel, and feeling rather peckish (it was almost 4pm, and we had not yet eaten!), decided to go to the bar for something light to eat. The gentleman who had helped us at the reception directed us to the bar, and proceeded to get us drinks (I think it was around £7 for a small white wine, and half a larger shandy). Then perusing the bar menu and taking into account the prices, decided to order a 'apple smoked cheese and sun dried tomato panini' (this was about £9). The same gentleman took our order and then disappeared for a while (I would not be surprised if the same man cooked our food, having so far filled the roles of receptionist, barman and waiter!) About 10 minutes later our food arrived, and we sat down at a table near the window, on the table was a dirty red wine glass, and knife, disappointing for such a high class hotel! The food itself was nicely, presented and absolutely delicious (if I can justify a £9 sandwich this would be it!). All in all a good (albeit expensive), expierience, however as a MacDonald Hotel, expect to pay hotel prices!
