“Perfect location for an overnight business trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

This hotel was ideally located for me on a recent business trip, as with most Premier Inns you know what to expect and this didn't fall short really. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was located right next door, although the waiting staff could have been a little bit more perosanable and presentable, other than that no complaints.

I went down for the Bonfire celebrations with my young nephew and we were very happy. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff are great, the receptionist when we arrived was very helpful and welcoming. It's only one stop on the train to Littlehampton town centre and the station is under a mile away, so it's a good location.

There's a Table Table restaurant next door for breakfast, which is cooked 'to order', much better than a hot buffet because the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. The staff were all very friendly and cheerful, even first thing on a frosty morning.

My nephew keeps a travel journal and was very taken with a particular sculpture we'd seen in town, but we couldn't find any details about it or the artist. The young lady on reception very kindly tracked it down on the web for us and printed out the notes for him, he's happy because he was able add them to the photo he took. Little touches like that, where the staff make the extra effort really make a difference to one's stay. We'll be going back next year.

Room Tip: Quieter on the car park side.

Thank you for the great review. Remember your stay and how excited your children were after the fireworks at Littlehampton. I have passed your thanks onto my team and we look forward to seeing you next year. Remember to book early, as we get very busy for the fireworks.

premier inn is supposed to be a cheap way of staying overnight, not in this establishment, £154.00 for two people for two nights and it did not even include a breakfast. What did you get for this price, an average room, average bathroom, telly that did not work properly all in purpose built box to house a number of rooms. The only plus side was the nice lady on reception. If the price of the room had been cheap, say £30-£40 then this would have been adequate and expected and it would then have been value for money but this was not the case, i even found out that the following weekend, the rooms were priced at £146.00 per night and still no breakfast. I will never go to a premier inn again, their advertising states Every Is Premier Except the Price, it should be turned round as absolutely nothing was premier, EXCEPT the price

Room Tip: choose another hotel

Thanks for your feedback.

We are very pleased that our team at the hotel ensured that you were well looked after.

Our pricing policy works in the same way as many airlines where prices are driven by market conditions at the time.

Although prices may increase at times of demand, they may also reduce on nights which are less busy.

We do have a Team who closely monitor all hotels to ensure they are competitively priced as we always try and give you the best value for money.

Thanks for taking the time to review our hotel.

Very nice furnished comfortable room with a good large size tv. No view except back of kitchen. Staff excellent. Apologised in the morning for roudy guests in several rooms opposite who woke the entire hotel at 12.30am with typical noise and shouting (If I was racist this would go on further). Clean with good bath which I like on holiday. Plenty of parking. Convenient stopover with spacious rooms if you can get the right price. Bed is hard for my taste but this seems to be the trend sadly.

Room Tip: Room 11 on first floor above laundry with no view. Noisy air con./ heating stops after 5 minutes fro...

The room was neat and clean and the staff friendly, they even offered to help with baggage. Unusual for the Premier Inn brand but we actually had a key. It was only about 17 miles from Brighton so easy hop along A25.

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions when visiting family in the area. We have always had an excellent stay, with clean and comfortable rooms and friendly, professional staff. My complaint is not with Littlehampton Premier Inn itself but with the policy of the company as a whole regarding family rooms. The company has a policy that children over 16 cannot share a room with their parents and i have been told that this is for health and safety reasons. This has made it very inconvenient for us since our daughter reached 16 as she does not want to be in a room on her own and we do not want to pay the price of 2 rooms. The rooms at the Premier Inn have a sofa which can easily be made into a bed for another adult and i am aware of many other companies, including Travelodge, who allow 3 adults to share a room at no extra cost. I am sure that Travelodge and the other companies which allow this cannot all be in breach of health and safety regulations. I have stated to Premier Inn that i would be happy to pay extra to allow my daughter to share our room (thereby allowing them to let out the 2nd room to someone else and making them financially better off) but they would not allow this. I feel that the policy discriminates against families with older children and goes against their 'good night' policy if parents have to worry about their children being in a room on their own.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

I had spent ages looking for accommodation for an overnight stay between East Preston and Worthing as we were visiting two sets of friends. We were hesitant in booking the Premier Inn at East Preston due to it being £100 for the night without breakfast. However as we were eating out both days room only was what we really wanted. From the outside I was somewhat hesitant and reluctant to enter. However, the receptionist in my opinion deserves the 'medal for hospitality' she was so welcoming, we had arrived she checked and we were allowed to go in early, she told us the rooms had been refurbished and gave us her paper to have a look at. She was so lovely - then we encountered the cleaner who again asked if we had a good journey etc. The room was absolutely spotless, the bed was comfy, crisp clean sheets and towels, plenty of coffee and milk When we were about to go out my top need a safety pin so my husband popped to the reception - they gave him two safety pins - my car alarm went off they rang me to tell me, reassuring me when I apologised profusely not to worry. The staff here are amazing and room beautiful. Not sure if every Premier Inn is like this but if so we will always use them as we travel an awful lot.

Room Tip: Back of the Premier Inn was quieter so we were told.
