“Warm welcome at reception but downhill after that”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2014

One person on the camp site ruined it for everyone by letting her dogs run riot messing everywhere. Our dogs got attacked, people were chasing the dogs away from their vans/motor homes. I did complain but as soon as manager went away the dogs were out again.

A one night stopover, chosen because of the facilities. My boys enjoyed the pool but the washroom facilities could have been a little better. They seemed a little dated and not as clean as they could be. Staff friendly.

Had the misfortune, along with at least 4 Dutch families of being robbed. The thief or thieves came into our trailer tent and cut our inner tent in a number of areas to see our location and the location of our valuables. It was so close, that my pillow had a knife cut in it! Money and other valuables taken and they took the keys and went through our car and roof box.

It seems that this is not a usual occurrence but the owners may have to consider tightening security if the site is seen as a soft touch.

This is a large campsite beside the motorway. It is at the end of a rather uninviting looking dirt track just outside Lyon.

To be fair, the pitches are huge & have both water & drainage. Also there is a fair-sized swimming pool & restaurant.

However, the sanitaires left a great deal to be desired. The shower cubicles were the smallest we have ever seen in France, & it would be impossible to either undress or dry properly within them. There was no head on the shower - just a pipe spurting water.

As for the toilets, it was easier to reverse into them & I object to my knees virtually touching the door.

The washing-up area was very cramped & the splash backs were in need of a good hard scrub.

The best thing about the site was the excellent English spoken by the staff on reception.
