“Excellent food and amazing views, with entertainment thrown in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

We nipped in for a bite of lunch and loved the food, I don't think i've ever tasted steakpie like it.
Our table overlooked the River Tay and we had a great time watching the junior British team canoeing and kayaking their way down a very cold choppy river. All than and excellent food too.

“Very Welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

We stopped here at 11am on Saturday morning before going white water rafting in the afternoon. Although the kitchen doesn't open until 12 noon the very friendly staff went out of their way to do coffee and huge bacon rolls for us. We returned after the rafting to warm up with a drink beside the log burning stove in the stylish but extremely comfortable lounge bar where the same barman from the morning came straight over to ask about our experience.
We're all looking forward to staying next time we visit, a gem of a place with very friendly helpful staff.

“Lovely restaurant in rural Perthshire”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

Althouigh the heating wasn't working in the restaurant, this did little to spoil our enjoyment of our visit to this gem of a restaurant. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and caring but not intrusive service all combined to what was a lovely visit.

“Great lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

Great lunch Traditional favourites on the menu with an imaginative twist and presentation. Fantastic desserts. Ask for a window seat so you can enjoy the spectacular river rapids.
