Stayed here in one of the cottages 3 weekends ago, it was fabulous. Last weekend of our honeymoon before going back to work after nearly a month off, left here feeling totally relaxed&chilled out. Met lovely people-other guests and staff.
The booking was for an overnight and 3 course dinner, We ended up with a 6 course tasting menu which was amazing! Best dinner I've ever had. Was a bit dubious whether I would like some of the courses but every single bite was a delight! I overheard them say the would change any course to accommodate guests requirement or dietary needs. Service throughout dinner was fantastic. Small dining area which gives a lovely atmosphere. You have the option to eat in the small bar area. No-one dressed up for dinner so was glad I hadn't wore a dress etc, it's all very casual yet the dinner is sublime!
Very nice staff who are very pleasant and chatty. Beautiful views of the Loch-would love to have walked around more but the rain was bad. Plenty of small towns nearby that we drove to and stopped off at. The road to the hotel is very narrow but there's lots of passing places. It was a gorgeous drive to it due to it being Autumn and the colours in the scenery were amazing.
Rooms are lovely, no TV tho which I think they should add but that's just my personal view. Bathroom was superb in size&all Molton Brown toiletries, hair dryer also provided. Wonderful large white fluffy towels as well.
Plenty of snug areas for you to enjoy pre-drinks. There was a small fridge in the room if you wanted to take any wine etc. Would've been lovely to sit out on the decking area having a small refreshment but due to the weather this wasn't possible.
We will definitely return to this place as a special treat but for the quality, service & the amazing food it was worth every penny. Go treat yourself.
