We celebrated my wife's birthday with friends and had an excellent evening. I made a reservation late in the day, but we were given a fine table over looking the harbour. The view was magnificent and the staff were friendly and appropriately attentive. Not white glove service, but right for the venue.
The food was well prepared and served simply in ample portions. The calamari fritti was very good, my wife's hog fish picatta, which was a chef's special for the evening was excellent. I had braised lamb shanks that very very adequate. The reduction was a bit too strong but still tasty.
The odd thing about this restaurant was that bread was unavailable except by special request. We had ordered Caprese salads which were drizzled with an excellent olive oil but the only bread available was the entree garlic bread. It took a little negotiation but the chef accommodated us by sending out a portion of garlic bread without the garlic butter, basically lightly toasted plain bread.
The wine list is decent and the prices were very reasonable.
