Description: It is new and that is why there is not much on the internet about you. It has already got some good reviews in the newspapers . It is run by two Irish guys and the food is exceptional. I think they will do great. Thank guys. It is one of those hybrid pubs with great food and one of the most extensive liqour menus I have seen. Clare .

“THE GREATEST LITTLE IRISH BAR IN MEXICO”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2011

the last place i expected to find the irish, let alone an irish owned and run bar was in Mexico. The owners David and Frank have done a marvellous job in transforming their bar into one of the most picturesque and friendly places in guadalajara. Everything is on offer, over 100 beers to choose from, great food, great staff, great location, all with an authentic irish feel. Its a must for any traveller or local looking for something different!!!!

Fantastic St Paddy's Day Celebration, I felt like at home in Cape Breton or back to my Irish Roots. Many thanks and keep up the good work. Brad Donovan GDL

“A bar which far outshines its namesake!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2010

If anyone has ever been to the actual area of Temple Bar in Dublin City, Ireland, they will know that few places in the world can match it for livliness and sheer fun (or "craic" as we call it in Ireland). How apt a name then for this fine Irish pub in the heart of Guadalajara. It has it all and more. Fine food, fantastic beer, the occassional live music session, unbelieveably low prices (unlike the real Temple Bar) and best of all, plenty of atmosphere and craic for all who pay a visit. All it's missing is a roaring fire and you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the middle of Ireland itself! A lovely city, great friendly bar staff (led by 2 lads from Dublin) and a lively clientele made our stay in Guadalajara (we spent most of the time in the pub!) one to remember and at the heart of it all was this venue. Shtuff.

p.s. Don't forget to try the Irish Car Bombs. They'll not see you wrong!

“What a Place...cheap alcohol, great food and friendly staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2010

I did a few months travelling in Mexico and Central America and found it an amazing part of the world. I struggled to find bars and restaurants that had a combination of the following....cheap, varied alcohol, excellent food and friendly staff....but in the Irish owned and ran Temple Bar I found this as flowing as the Corona on tap.
Although Im not a massive fan of themed bars this bar made you feel very welcome. As I was travelling at the time I was all questions about how do I go here, or whats it like there etc. The owner sat me down and gave me some great advice and tips for getting around Guadalajara!a truly friendly Irish guy whose personality matched the warmth of the place.
The menu was very varied and had a lot of options to cater for any appetite. Service was snappy and food was great value! The bar also claims to have up to 70 different types of beer, I counted 84 and when a pint is only a dollar its also great value!
The atmosphere was also very varied...a collection of students, locals, tourists and just beer enthusiasts...all of this combined with some music provide an awesome setting for some fun and the friendliness of the staff seems to be reflected in the type of people who drink there!a truly great place! The tall chairs and large awning to the front of this bar provide an excellent opening to the place. Would recommend to anyone!!
Sláinte!!!
