Just had my wedding in the hotel and what a success. With only 6 weeks to organise the staff could not have been more helpful. We had everything in the hotel, the service, the meal and our reception in the function suite. The staff(especially James, Shirley and Chris) were amazing and paid close attention to every detail. We booked 6 rooms and were very impressed with them. The rooms are delightful and very clean. They are very tastefully decorated.

There is nothing that we could fault with anything to do with the Carnbooth House Hotel and will be returning at some point in the near future.

Room Tip: The Honeysuckle suite was a delight and very special for a romantic occasion. However having seen a...

I travel regularly for business and I can honestly say I this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service, food and whole stay was remarkable, the staff were excellent and so helpful nothing was too much trouble, and I must say very genuine which is sometimes hard to find these days especially in some of the more corporate hotels. Everything you wanted in the large lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms. I had dinner in my room, the menu and food both excellent. Wonderful breakfast, freshly cooked and a good cold buffet. On the second day I didn't want breakfast and asked for a pot of tea in my room, it arrived a huge lovely hot pot of tea with a few slices of toast and preserves in case I was peckish. Just outstanding, from the decor, ambiance and especially the staff. I will be staying again when in the area.

Booked into Carnbooth House Hotel whilst visiting relatives in Glasgow. What a surprise. A real gem on a cold autumn day. Great atmosphere from the moment you step inside and excellent food with attentive service. Hardly wanted to venture out and leave their lovely log fires, cosy bar and really comfortable bedroom. A great individual hotel in an area of chain hotels.

Room Tip: Can't imagine there are bad bedrooms.

We have dined at the hotel on two family occasions. Each time we have been impressed with the hotel's warm and welcoming ambience. This has been complimented by the attentive and friendly staff, not forgetting a 1st class dinning experience. Although we have yet to stay over night it is high on our 'to do' list. In short an outstanding venue for a family celebration.

Visited with friends for a meal. Although there was a wedding in full swing when we arrived, we found staff very attentive. Beautiful lounge area where we had drinks prior to our meal. The dining room was suptuous and food was outstanding. We enjoyed it so much we returned in October. If possible, food was even better.

Our daughter's wedding at the Carnbooth House was perfect. The location is great, accessible from the city and East Kilbride. The grounds were ideal for some beautiful autumnal photographs- we were lucky to be there on the one , dry day this week, with blue skies and sunshine, if not a bit chilly. The hotel entrance was very welcoming with an open fire to warm chilled guests following photographs- there was another in the small bar area. The fires were kept going throughout the day and this was appreciated by guests waiting for taxis late that night. The staff were very professional, Ron and Shirley were very supportive and kept us all right throughout the procedure. Shirley gave us special attention and certainly gave a personal touch-she was great. The food served was excellent and several guests commented that it was the best "wedding meal" they had ever been served. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they remained on duty until all guests staying in the hotel had gone to bed which was well into the middle of the night! The bedrooms were beautiful, they were luxurious and fitted to a high standard with very comfortable beds which made it difficult to get up to go down for our first class breakfast. The wedding party breakfasted together which was a lovely end to a perfect wedding celebration. My daughter's day was perfect- thank you, all Carnbooth staff.
