5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Went here after my aunties funeral n wasn't really wanting to go after such a sad occasion , but credit due where credit deserve , everything was first class , the sandwiches fresh , home baking was homemade , staff very helpful , soup lovely , . Will go back but hopefully on not such a sad day , n in such a scenic view . In my eyes you done my auntie proud.

“Really lovely dining experience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

It isn't just the food that was fantastic, the whole experience was just lovely. Food was exceptional and the Crannachan the best I have ever tasted. Cost and service both 5 star. And we had our coffee and tablet at the fireside with a lovely little black cat demanding tickles with our free hands.

“Incredible 'takeaways' too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

I was sadly too ill to keep our dinner booking so we asked the owner if we could collect it instead to eat at our self catering cottage. She was extrememly obliging and we had the most delicious sole in a wonderful mushroom sauce with all veg and a delicious pudding.Very reasonably priced. We had eaten in twice before in previous years and that was a 5 * star service too. Highly recommended in this part of the world where decent food is hard to come by.

“Lovely Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

Just returned from a few days in the Acharacle area. Had an excellent meal in this restaurant. Food was second to none!! And the setting is nothing short of idyllic!! Could have better baby changing facilities though.

One criticism....... if you are going to talk about customers..... make sure that they are not in earshot! If you aren't sure why somoneone has asked for a specific thing then just ask them??

“okay but not as good as we thought it would be”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

service good but no choice in vegetables and dont think carrots and runner beans great with steak. Smoked haddock pate ok but would have liked a stronger taste
