After passing this restaurant on several occasions, we decided to stop off and order a take away on our last night in Wales. The Menu looked very good, and we had read good reviews. However, to say this is Indian was terrible would be an understatement. Not only we were waiting for 30 minutes to order, we were then told that it would be another 30-40 minutes before the food would be ready! We left, and returned 35 minutes later, to be told that our food was being 'packed up' and would be ready in 5 minutes. After waiting a further 25-30 minutes, following a number of excuses, our food was ready; almost 1 hour and 40 minutes after stepping foot through the door. After such a long wait, we were offered bread as complimentary due to our wait. We headed back to our campsite hoping that the food would make up for the wait. Unfortunately we were let down again; the Chicken Korma was bland, the Pilau rice tasteless and the Chicken Jalfrezi tasted like Dolmio Pasta Sauce. The 'free' bread was like cardboard and the Poppadoms were awful. The Pickle Tray 'dips' came in bizarre food bags.
At an average price of £8.50 per main dish, we were expecting much better, and were left truly disappointed. We fully understand that the Restaurant was busy, and it was a Bank Holiday, however this should not be an excuse for the poor service and poor quality. To top things off, the gentleman at the campsite had the cheek to tell us that the food from Indiana Cuisine is 'much better than the cr*p from where you come from". We strongly disagree, and certainly wont be going back to Indiana Cuisine if we are in the area again.
