We stayed for a short time with Alison and Jeff back in June and had a fantastic time. The grounds of Yr Hafan are extensive and beautiful with breath taking views. The area is remote, so for exploring you will need a car, there is free parking and the accommodation. However Jeff does offer lifts down to the local pub "The Sloop" which is a great little place and other local amenities like The Shed for some freshly caught seafood. There are plenty of walks and areas of west Wales to discover, including Porthgain, Newgale beach, Whitesands, Freshwater Bay and St.Davids. All area accessable whilst using Yr Hafan as your base. When you return there is a comfy and luxurious room waiting for you to relax and plan for the following day's adventures. When you wake, you can head down to the small but fantastic breakfast room with great big windows and doors to light the place up, there are great views to look at whilst you choose from the tasty and diverse breakfast menu. The delious cooked to order breakfast is sourced from fresh and local produce, which makes it all the more tasty. In the lounge area there are a selection of places to relax with a log fire/burner - I imagine this to be well used by the winter guests. We had a look around most rooms and cottages too, all of which were finished to the same high standard.
We didn't stay long, however what we did experience - definitely left us wanting more. We will be back!!!!! Thank you
