“Short break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

Stayed here while visiting Pembrokeshire. Superb breakfast -nice having fish as a change from the standard fry up. Didn't have the evening meal but heard it was good. Staff lovely and it was nice to chat to the owner too, who made us feel very welcome. Hostess tray in lovely bedroom had biscuits and horlicks! Nice touch.

Chose the Beggars as our wedding location. Outstanding service from Will, Gill and his team. Excellent food and exactly the wedding we wanted. Thank you so much, you have given us the treasured memories we wanted.

Just had 2 lovely nights at Beggars Reach hotel. Was there for a wedding. The room was comfortable, and very quiet. The hotel staff were friendly, and very professional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We visited this hotel in July from Thursday to Saturday. We stayed in room 11 which was really big with a living area and bedroom. We had evening meal which was lovely and the breakfast was good also. The grounds were really nice for having photos with the wedding party.Again the food you couldn't fault. Had a lovely stay and would deffinately recommend.

Room Tip: Room 11 very spacious but very warm

This hotel is tucked away in beautiful gardens and is well maintained.
The standards were very high from the moment we arrived, the service from the young lad on reception did leave something to be desired, but the telephone booking went smoothly so it was relatively painless for him to locate our booking details. Ironically he told us the completely wrong time for breakfast (though thankfully i noticed his error), and as we were enjoying breakfast he turned up late for work!
Anyway, the room was very nicely decorated and was clean and fresh.
The facilities were great and maintained to a high standard.
The bed was comfortable, but the noise from the guests at the wedding were very noisy and did wake me a couple of times in the night.
The breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection of continental items, and the hot breakfast was cooked to order (delicious)

Aside from the midnight wake up from the wedding guests, a perfect stay in a lovely hotel. highly recommended.

Generaly the hotel is very good.
Good location and very good breakfast .
Very friendly to the dogs .
The biggest let down was no air conditioned room.
Especially when weather temperature are in 30 degrees .
The room was small and very hot.
We asked for cooling fan but they said they don't have and that we are not the only one who has the same problem.
I believe that is not the answer from somebody who cares for his guests
