Wow !! What an amazing place !! I ve never seen an island so beautiful !! We rented " Top Of the Hill "" at February Point. Matt and his team were better than excellent !! The house was drop dead gorgeous !!! not a single complaint here !!!! We will deffinately be back . All of the locals were friendly and helpful. If I could give this 10 stars I would.
You're crazy if you don't visit here. Food and drinks are a bit pricey, but heck - you're on vacation.

Yes, this was a great vacation me and my wife took to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I don’t remember exactly how we came to choose February Point but it turned out to be one of the luckier vacation choices of my life. There are two things that struck me most during that trip: beauty and service. When you are visiting the Exumas you are constantly surrounded by beauty in all shapes and sizes. Everything from the smallest sea shells to the vast ocean seems beautiful and refined. Everywhere we went we were amazed. Sometimes we would just stare at the mesmerizing ocean for minutes. Sunsets were also wonderful, certainly some of the most beautiful I’ve seen. Being constantly immersed in such magnificence for days is simply mind altering particularly when it is all accompanied by perfect weather and the kind of service they provide at February Point. We stayed at a newly built beach front villa that was absolutely and without exaggeration state of the art. The wraparound verandas, beautiful spacious bathrooms and all necessary amenities are there. The maid service was the best I’ve ever seen. They have tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pools, business center, you name it.

My husband, I and our 2 kids stayed at February Point in June '09 for 10 nights and had a great vacation! We stayed in a very nicely appointed 3 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront villa. The villa was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very nicely equipped. The views from the back dock and the 2nd floor balcony were stunning.
The only negative experience we had at the villa was the lack of Toilet Paper upon our arrival after a long day of travel! Rebecca (FP concierge) came to our rescue with a couple of rolls. Rebecca is a wonderful person and concierge! She was very gracious and helpful by offering us a couple of rides into town for groceries and to pick up our boat rental at Minn's upon our arrival. Everyone that we came across at FP were friendly and quick to offer any assistance! From our housekeeper Jacklyne (sorry if I spell names wrong) to Marilyn at the front gate, everyone made us all feel very welcome and at home.
Our first night at FP we dined at the Bamboo restaurant. We made reservations and were the only guests there. Very nice of them to wait on us!! The wait staff were very quick to seat us and take our orders. The entree's were fantastic. I had the grouper and my husband had the Mahi, if I remember correctly. Both were great. The appetizer we shared was the conch cake and just okay. Our kids ordered off the kids menu. My daughter had the hamburger and that was good, but my son's fish fingers tasted old. While we were dining the power went out and the waiters were mortified! They were all so sweet and funny holding up their cell phones to make some light so we could see our food to eat! The kids thought it was hysterical! Talk about mood lighting, can't get any better than that. It really was not a big deal to us, and the fact that they were so concerned just lets you know how much they want their guests to enjoy themselves and have a great experience at FP. All and all we had a wonderful experience at FP and can't wait to go back.
Exuma is a beautiful island with very beautiful and friendly people!

Wow! This place is one of the most precious pearls of the Caribbean. Great Exuma is one beautiful paradise of an island the sights of which will instantly reduce your mind to ataxia. The Exuma sunsets actually have such magical beauty about them as is nowhere else to be found.
February Point resort is a charming little community on a seaside strip of land near Georgetown. It is minutes away from the airport, and other essential locations and sights are all in close proximity. However, this doesn’t in any way upset the privacy and seclusion you enjoy when staying there.
Those luxury villas are impressive in their noble design as well as modern finishes such as high speed internet and air conditioning. The housekeeping services are quite irreproachable and there always is hot and cold water, fresh towels, fresh flowers and crisp new sheets on the bed. Add to this a beautiful infinity shaped swimming pool by the house, fully equipped fitness center and tennis court on the territory of the resort and you get one of the best secluded upscale resorts of the Caribbean.
The beaches are extraordinary. Turquoise ocean water is always warm and not too salty. There are plenty of reefs for unforgettable snorkeling. The surrounding cays and islets provide endless destinations for boat exploration. Days are sunny, so plenty of sun block is a must. Well, what else? February Point is certainly a very promising rising star on the scene of Caribbean upscale resorts. I was there in March 2009 and was extremely pleased with the experience.

I want to say at the very beginning of this review that the 6 days I spent at February Point were certainly one of the best vacations of my life. They made it so cozy and comfortable that we can’t wait to go back probably next winter. Among the luxury hotels and resorts I have stayed at this was also probably the best quality for the price. And if you think about it, February Point is a rather inexpensive luxury since all the food, renting and other incidental spending is very affordable in Great Exuma. In fact the local seafood is always exquisite, fresh, well prepared and so cheap - it’s really a paradise for seafood maniacs like me. The resort itself is very well organized and professionally managed – we had zero complaints when we stayed there in a grand colonial style villa with oceanfront verandas and beautiful private bathrooms.
Fishing is a common pastime for guests and is also some of the best I ever had in these latitudes. Guests and residents of February Point usually hang out at local bars and restaurants either on the territory of the resort or in the surroundings. And the atmosphere or vibe of these places is always noticeably unpretentious, relaxed and friendly without ever straying into forced sociability. I recommend February Point to all those who cherish comfort, embrace the spirit of sea adventure and appreciate a well run recreation business.
