My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to spend a week here last June and I can't even express how great of a place Coral Gardens is. Peter was more than accomodating. Literally, any type of information that you may need to have the time of your life is at your finger tips. When you stay at this place, you're not just getting a bed to sleep, but a knowledgable concierge who is willing to make sure you have the perfect vacation. Just to give you an idea of what to expect when booking this B&B, I'll list our experience...
We contacted Peter and Betty months ahead of time to book our stay and all the way up until our flight to Exuma they answered any and all of my questions (we're the "planner" type if you can't tell). Whether it be questions about weather, tours, boat rentals, best beaches, snorkeling, etc., we had the answer. When we arrived, we felt very comfortable about the place due to this. As we arrived, Peter had arranged a taxi to bring us to the B&B. The fare was around $25, I forget the exact amount. While at the B&B, we realized that we had made a mistake with our booking. There are two properties, one named Coral Gardens (which is a B&B a few blocks from the beach) and Coral Sands (the one on the beach). We wanted the one on the beach, but I was confused with the booking and booked the wrong one. Luckily, Peter was more than willing to fix this problem and ended up letting us stay at Coral Sands for the week (very nice of him).
As far as the properties, both Coral Sands and Coral Gardens are so unique! They did such a great job with the landscaping. Plants are everywhere and it gives it a wonderful, oasis feel. While at the B&B going over places to see/ things to do with Peter, we even saw a humming bird feeding by a plant near the porch. Such a great and beauitful place. The rooms were exactly as described and Peter even took the time to get groceries for us since we arrived on Sunday and the store closes early that day. For Coral Sands, the house is amazing. We stayed in a self-sufficient type apartment which had its own kitchen and bathroom. Everything was clean and we had no problems. The house was big and had plenty of rooms, but we were the only ones there for the week so Peter said we could use the balcony above us. What a view that was. Hooper's Bay, which is the beach that is about 30 yards from the house, is stunning. After Tropic of Cancer Beach, this is the best beach in Exuma. There are even sea turtles that nest in the bay behind the house (they loved eating squid out of our hands, but watch your fingers!).
We also rented a car from Peter which worked out great. Renting a car is a must, trust me. The car provided was similar to the Toyota 4-Runner (I forget the specific car, it was shipped in from Japan). We got to see so much thanks to having a car and having Peter tell us what to check out. Some things that I recommend as a "must-see" or "must do" are Catch a Fire restaurant (try to go there when there is live music on Wed and Sat nights...this place is stunning), tour of the cays through Four C's, Tropic of Cancer Beach, Santana's, renting a boat from Minn's and exploring the harbour (we only did this for one day, wish we would have done this for at least 2 days), and just exploring in general. If you're worried about Exuma being too small with not enough to do, think again. This place is unique in so many ways. The people there have a mindset that I've never encountered before in my life. Everyone there is so friendly and willing to help you and anyone else they may encounter. I never felt worried or unsafe the entire time I was there. You'll leave Exuma with a new perspective on how people are SUPPOSED to interact. The people there live day by day and are genuinely happy. There's no obsession with having the best car or having the most money. They live to live, and we certainly appreciated that lifestyle! I remember landing in Atlanta after our flight home from Exuma and immediately feeling the stress and hustle of the U.S. again as I walked through the terminal. Go to this place and stay at Coral Gardens. It's something you'll be happy you did and you'll have great memories that will last a lifetime!
Thank you Peter and I hope Betty is doing better! We will be back soon.

P.S. I added some of my pictures that I took while there. Many of them are edited, so I apologize if anyone was looking for raw images!
