“Solstice Catamaran - Exuma Cays”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Simply put, Paradise...

This trip met and exceeded any expectations we had going into it, and the expectations were high. The Exumas are indescribably beautiful. The seascape is composed of a myriad of blues and greens as far as the eye can see, an ocean unlike any other, and what a fabulous way to see it guided by the most excellent crew of the Solstice.

Cliff and Liza (owner/operators) are amazing. Kind, fun loving, and hospitable, any worries about having a crew you might not get along with are immediately assuaged when you meet them. What good people. Cliff masterfully navigates the Solstice to all the BEST spots, while Liza consistently prepares delicious, and healthy to boot, meals.

The charter starts out in Nassau, then travels down to the Exumas. The itinerary is entirely up to what kinds of attractions and activities your group wants to do. Amongst others we enjoyed hiking, snorkeling, beach bonfires, and diving. They also have some stand up paddle boards that are a blast, especially considering the environment. The water is incredible, I can't stress this enough. Even pictures hardly do justice to the awe you experience soaking in all the crystal blues and greens. The island beaches have wonderful white sand.

The area in general is so virgin, very little development. It's hard to find places left with such natural beauty that haven't been exploited by developers. Truly wonderful.

Our group was a family, ranging from my 58 year old parents, down to my 3 year old nephew.

“Incredible coral reefs! Amazing anchorage spot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

The land and sea park is awesome! Dinghy in and walk up the hill to see the "blow hole", stop by the park office for a map of the island and learn some history about the park. This anchorage is a must "stay". If you like snorkeling you will feel like you just went to heaven! You can scuba too only if you have brought your own equipment. I would definitely stay for longer on our next trip!

You can tie up your boat right off one of the islands and there are tons of fish. It seems that they have been fed, however, so be careful not to bring in food as the tuna can get a bit aggressive.

“Do it if you can.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

We have been here more than once. It is a great place to visit as the snorkeling is fantastic. We "worked" for part of our anchor ball rent and really enjoyed that. Explore the whole island(s) and see all the underwater you can.
