“Awesome display of power”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

This place is amazing. During our stay on Eleuthera, the weather had been a little chaotic. The locals told us that normally they had a few days of rain during the entire month of May, but it seemed like we got most of it. ;) But, that didn't stop us from venturing out to see the sights of the island. We were glad we did on the day we went to see Queen's Bath, because the ocean was magnificent.

We stayed at the Cove and borrowed the bikes they make available to their guests. We traveled North about 2.5-3 miles. (Once you pass Daddy Joe's, you will be about 1/2 mile from the entrance to Queen's Bath. You will find it on your right. Just look out for the stone fence.) We parked our bikes at the fence and ventured out through the trail. MAKE SURE TO WEAR SNEAKERS. Although not a difficult hike, you are going over some rocky terrain. Keep on eye on the little ones, there are too many places were they can get hurt.

Once you make it out of the trees, move forward some more until you can turn left. Again, watch your step, but you will eventually come to a "cliff" that looks down onto the baths. From here you can watch the beauty and power of the ocean. We don't know how people go down to the baths themselves, it seemed pretty dangerous to us. We can see how someone can be swept away by the waves that CRASH into them. But the view was fantastic.

The baths were beautiful and very interesting. We didn't get to stay too long and enjoy them because it started to rain but they were very intereesting to see.

“Fantastic Find! Thanks reviewers for the location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

This place was super cool with the waves crashing in and the tide pools. It is NOT easy to find without the help of other Reviewers, thanks to them we were able to locate it easily. South of glass window bridge, Atlantic side, white colored rock wall flank the entrance. Walk in and around to the left to enjoy!

“worth a few minutes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

If you are on a bike heading to the glass window bridge, take a few minutes to check out the Queens Bath. Natural pools in the rock with the crashing waves of the Atlantic dramatically pounding the shore.

Wear tennis shoes because you will have to hike a bit to get down to some of the areas. Be careful too because the water comes in and drains out pretty quickly from the Atlantic waters.
