Beautiful natural formations. Such a shame that much jas been desicrated by graffiti however.

“Loved the caves!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2012

We had a really great time in the caves. Some people on here complain about the graffiti, but I don't know why - gave it character. We didn't venture in too deep. There was a ladder to go down to keep going in, and I got spooked because we didn't have a cell phone or any way to contact anyone. No adventure in me I guess. Regardless, we had a really good time and it was a nice little side adventure (less than an hour) one of the days of our trip.

“Historical Caves a Must!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2010

It took us about an hour to go through the entire cave, and it was well worth it. Writing on the walls dated back to the 1800's with the names of people and ships that stopped in. It's interesting to think of how many people have lived in the cave and under what circumstance. Definitely bring a couple of lights. Bring shoes/ shorts you can get wet if you don't mind wading in waist-high water at the end the hike to view another layer of the cave (optional, there are a few puddles in the main cave but can be avoided).

“Lots of damage and vandalism”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2008

The mouth of cave is full of graffiti and many of the stalagmites have been knocked off with sledge hammers and taken. The cave may get better the further back you go, but we did not bring a light with us so we could only go as far as the daylight would allow us to see.

If you are pressed for time, this is one feature I would recommend skipping.
