“Wonderful Family Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

All 15 of us had a great time celebrating Mom's 88th Birthday aboard the Superfast Saturday, Jan 24th through Sunday the 25th. The ship was super nice, the crew very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent and abundant, the ship activities fun and the Island resort, pool and casino really cool. Some of us stayed on the ship and others at the resort. The resort villas are new, beautifully designed and spacious. The rooms on the ship were small as expected, but clean and comfortable. I found the value for all of this outstanding.
A great adventure with great customer service all the way around!

I am very grateful to my wife for surprising me with this quick get away. We have been fortunate enough to do a bit of traveling and this experience definitely falls into the ones that made great memories.
From the moment we walked into the reception area at the port of Miami to the moment we got back in the car, we enjoyed every moment we spent at RWB. The hospitality of the staff was very inviting and set the tone for us to really be able to disconnect and enjoy our trip. We were greeted and welcomed by Frank, the ship director whom made us feel right at home. Once we departed, we were approached by Edmund, the food and beverage manager. Truly a pleasant and kind person that even surprised us with his signature caipirinha. After an hour or so of blackjack and some drinks served by Rico, the casino bartender, we arrived at Bimini. We were welcomed by Jeremie Johnson, the kindest most welcoming person on the island. He guided us to the golf carts we reserved (a must) and made the transition from the ship to the room painless.
What more can I say that this is a beautiful property. We stayed in a villa which was pristine and very nice. Brand new buildings, well decorated and very clean. The infinity pool is well done and gives a great view of the pool cascading into the ocean. Drinks were all made well. Staff was kind, polite and entertaining. Casino is nice, dealers had fun with with the players. Making for a fun experience as you try to make some money.
For the sake of time, I won't even get into our expeditions around the island which is another story in its own.
All in all we had an amazing time. I can't wait to go back. I give RWB a 10 out of 10 and look forward to my next trip there.

Room Tip: They are all good.

Went on the inaugural saiking out of FLL, although looking at the website they discontinued along with the daytrips. Pleasantly surprised ship was very new and clean , not your typical ferry. Onboard food was good and staff very nice. Arrived at the island, boarded the include d tram to beach. Enjoyed lunch , moderate priced and good drinks. Did kayaking because it was included in fare. Joined another couple that rented a golf cart ($40 for the day) and went off in to the island. Purchase d beer at a local shop 3 for 5 bucks. And had an awesome freshly made conch salad at local spot. Debarkation was a nightmare and disorganixed but not entirely ships fault. Would return for overnight trio just for relaxing. Resort offers free wifi.

I traveled to Resorts World via the Super Fast. The boat is the nicest ferry I have ever been on, but it is not a cruise ship. For what I was looking for (a lesser expensive, quick get a way) it was perfect. The staff on the boat is great. The resort has lovely villas. Ours was spacious and far enough away from the construction that we slept soundly, but you could hear the trucks and activity. In fact, you could hear construction going on no matter where you were in the resort. A retraction for sure. Otherwise, a must do weekend getaway as the water is gorgeous and the people very friendly.

We booked with travelzoo 1 month in advance and selected our dates. We arrive at the cruise terminal 2 hours early. They had no record of us selecting dates. They found our names but didn't have rooms for us. So we had to wait for 2 hours until everyone boarded for them to assign us a room. They ran out of time and told us to just get on the boat they would assign us a room on there. We waited on board at the service desk for an hour to get a room. They had nothing on the boat so they gave us a villa and checked out bags for free. The villa was way better than staying on the boat. 2 bedroom/ 3 bath with a full kitchen. We get to Bimini and have to wait again for someone to take us to the office. We didn't get to our room until about midnight. We then walked to the casino, fire pit, pool/bar area. It was fun. Not many people. We had to be back on the boat at 9:30 am. We spent less than 12 hours on the island! So we woke up early and walked around. I would have hated it if we had a room on board because we wouldn't not have been able to see any of the island... The boat ride back was fun. There no pool but they had some events on the main deck. It was overall a good weekend trip but I wouldn't do it again. Not worth the hassle. We booked through travelzoo, it was 120$ total for the 2 of us + drink So+ $20 for parking. I do not think the trip is worth anymore than that. Great to do once...oh yeah, You need to be a night person because you don't get there until late.

We purchased a one day trip (less than 24 hrs.) for a discount. We expected to get on a delapidated old ship. Quite the opposite happened. We were told that our room was not ready, but they were serving a snack. This snack was actually a full lunch... Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, fries, pasta, and all the condiments. Everything looked new and clean, another surprise. Then as soon as we finished lunch, our room was ready. It was very small, with two twin beds, (only accommodations on ship, regardless of the pictures online) but clean with a shower large enough for my husband to stand up in. There were many places to store our belongings including a closet that turned the clothing sideways for more room. The entire ship had new carpeting and every staff member went out of the way to accommodate any desire. The Casino had gaming tables including Craps. Once we arrived in Bimini, they picked us up at the boat with a tram. The casino/bar on the island is also very nice. And of course you are welcomed by the warm culture of the Bahamian people. The Hotel is under construction and there are plenty of villas for rent. But, the ship was comfortable enough for the night or for a few nights on the next trip. On the way home, we were looking at the ship's map, when the Hotel director asked if we had any questions. He told us the one day trips were ending on January 25th. They would only be doing 2 and 3 night trips. The ship is only 12 years old, and was converted from a ferry that went from Italy to Grece. They added the rooms without TVs so people would enjoy the open spaces on the ship. The Casino, Bimini bar at the back of the ship, 360 bar (for nightlife experience), sports bar with live entertainment, outside decks with lounge chairs, Sailfish buffet restaurant, Ponce de Leon restaurant, that I had an amazing Rib Eye, cooked perfectly for a $20 up charge from the buffet. (well worth it) I will definitely take this trip again, and I go out of my way to ask you to ignore any negative reviews, as I was amazingly surprised with everything. Bedding is small but very comfortable with new linens. The Only thing I will do differently is to take my own pillow.

Room Tip: All the rooms are the same. I do not recommend 4 people in a single room. Bimini is a small intimate...

We traveled as a group of 4 couples to celebrate my husband's birthday. I was not sure what to expect from the mixed reviews but am happy to say everything was excellent. The island and its people are great. The resort is beautiful and staff were so friendly and accommodating. It was apparently the slowest week of the year but this made it great for just relaxing. On our last night the ship came in with more guests and the place came to life. There is construction going on but it did not impact the quality of our trip and construction means more amenities for next time. We would definitely return.
