We went on a cruise to the bahamas and our excursion for the day was cancelled due to high winds. We decided to rent some scooters and happened upon this course...and what better way to spend a windy day than hitting balls??! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The course itself isn't too bad but at $65 for 9 holes + cart rental + club rentals, I did have higher expectations for how the course would be maintained. There was a fair amount of garbage scattered around, debris on the course, etc. Very few course markers, directions were spray painted on the cart path, and no on-course service.
Just like the staff at the course though, everyone we encountered in Lucayan was exceptionally friendly. We got a bit lost on our way back to the port and had people come out of stores or stop along the highway to offer us help. Very impressed!
