Gold Rock Beach is part of the Lucayan National Park - the home of the Lucayan Indian Tribe pre-Christopher Columbus. The history alone offers interesting enough reason to visit the National Park, but the beach makes it completely worth it.
Leading to the beach is a boardwalk above beautiful marshy waters loaded with colorful fish waiting to be fed by passers-by. The beach itself is covered in perfect soft, white sand, crystal clear water, and sand bars every few hundred feet. It's quiet and only costs $5 to visit for a full day. Great beach for swimming and relaxing, but doesn't offer much in the ways of snorkeling.
I highly, highly recommend visiting this dream location.
