Had we not taken a cab here, we never would have found it, as the dirt pathways leading up to the beach make it seem more suitable for a dumping spot for a body. Thankfully no dead bodies, however the beach was littered with garbage.
The shorelines were nice, but that was about it, there was really no spot to lay a towel down without garbage.
We'd been to gold rock beach, and that was quite a treat. This beach however was littered and beyond filthy. The waters however are very clear, and no one was around, just us, we had the whole place to ourselves, but worried about our safety due to having the whole place to ourselves, and no one to help us if something bad were to happen.
There are no reefs here to see though, just a few gar fish swimming about the rocky areas.
All in all, it was cool to say I had visited this beach, but it is definitely not as lovely as others lead you to think, go to Gold Rock at low tide to experience a jaw dropping beach
The disappointing thing about this beach is that it has such potential to be a stunner, but the trash that litters most of the area is gross, we collected as many 0-Ring plastic can holders as we could find, as it is a danger to marine life and birds. SLOBS should be ashamed of themselves, spoiling such a beach.
A good clean up though, and this beach would not be so terrible.
