“Best prices on two beers and fun crowd”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

This place always has the most fun crowd and best prices on beer. There would always be a crowd here when the other place was empty. Pin a dollar on the wall. The cash goes every year to support the local retirement home.

“A place for every night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

My husband and I went here almost every night. The bartenders were fantastic. You can sit outside and listen to the live music in the marketplace. If the kitchen is closed, you can run next door and grab a pizza from Pizza Hut and enjoy it with a rum runner in a coconut.

“This IS the place.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Nobody comes here to eat. It's a drinkers' bar, and the #1 party spot in Freeport. I don't know why, there's nothing special about its location, size, decor, but it just has that 'it' atmosphere that draws people in. There are several other drinking establishments with nearly the same set up next door, or within a few steps---but they are always empty, while this place is always packed. The prices are reasonable for the Bahamas, the drinks are good, and plentiful. We hit this place every time we're in Freeport, and it's the same every time, fun! The guys behind the bar are always smiling and laughing and joking with the customers. No matter how busy it is, it's never hard to get a drink. The only hard part, is finding and keeping a seat, but we love it. Another fascinating aspect are the other customers, truly international. On any given night you will find Americans, Europeans, Australians, Chinese, Russians all mixing it up and having a good time, in 12 different languages. Really unique experience. You can't miss it, just follow the laughter.

“Great Pina Coladas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

This is the place for drinks and watching people, we did not eat at this restaurant and don't see many people eating here but there is lots of them drinking. My wife had the best Pina Colada in a coconut shell, they carry a large supply of fresh coconuts, they pick one from the pile with one hand in the other hand they have a machete and then just chop the top, I know if I tried this, my fingers would have been gone also. Then they remove some of the coconut meat from the shell and place in a plastic cup for a healthy snack. They overfill the coconut shell with the frozen Pina Colada, you need to drink some before you can carry to your table. They have other flavors also, but my wife did not want to switch it was to good for that.
I tried the beer specials and they have quite a bit of them, the only think that you have to be careful, they will add a 15% tip with every purchase. Our seating was next to the Count Basie Square that was closed for remodeling, there is plenty of options for drink and food in the square, we tried Big Daddy Conch for Conch salad, fritters and fried, all fresh and cooked to order just delicious the best we ever head. Of course they are conch capital.
