We ate at Willie's twice during our stay, both times for the Champagne Sunday Brunch. Greeted warmly by the staff, I loved the decor where they have broken a large restaurant space up into little cabanas & open areas. It does a great job of keeping the noise down at busy times as well as looking good. At $25 (about £16) for a couple of glasses of Champagne & a good quality, all you can eat, buffet; this represents excellent value by Bahamas standards. You get a 10% discount if you are members of the resort gym.
A large salad selection & soup to start. The main buffet has a wide & varied selection that should cater for all tastes. Beef, tacos, pizzas, pasta, local fish (my favourite) etc. All well cooked & piping hot. They'll even cook you an omelette if you really can't find what you fancy. Should you still have room there is a wide selection of desserts to choose from. Whilst the food is really good, like most buffet food, it does lack the wow factor; hence 4 rather than a 5 rating. Would recommend Willie's if you are staying in Freeport.
If you're not staying at the Grand Lacayan Resort just tell them at security you are eating at Willie's & they will let you through.
