We stayed at the Sheraton Sept 22-28 2003. The room, hotel, beach were all exceptionally clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful, however they were always trying to sell you a timeshare. The food and drinks (they have the best strawberry daiquiri) at the hotel were expensive but my husband and I usually split them since they were such large portions. If you like a calm and quite hotel, this is your kind of place.

We have been all over the world, so Sheraton prices did not scare when I booked 4 night stay. The sticker shock came, after I receive phone bill - they charged me $85 for 10 min call to USA. Scary!
Definitely, stay away from their phones. Food at the Sheraton was overpriced, but very mediocare and service slow (although, they never forget to add 15% service charge). In any case, after the first night, we went to Atlantis next door. High prices too, but excellent service and unbelievable decor.

My suggestion: sleep over at the Sheraton and use their beach, but defitely go to eat and have fun to Atlantis or across the bridge to Nassau.

Sheraton Grand April 14-17 04 all-Inclusive $2300.(restrictions) House Wine and food limits, uses of safe extra anything from room refig extra. Room was OK! Food was good, but the dining room were we had breakfast could have used a good cleaning. The bathrooms off the lobby area needed cleaning and the pool bathrooms were in serious need of cleaning. We were told by some of the staff that the hotel had been sold and they were losing their jobs. I guess that's why some of them had a don't care attitude. When you book all-inclusive you need to ask questions. You had to leave the property for entertainment. Nothing going on but folk trying to sell Timeshare property. Our first all-inclusive experience was in Jamacia and second in Cancun. Those people had it going on. These people need to get with the program. If you are use to all-inclusive this is not for you. I would not stay here again.

We normally stay in Nassau, but I told my husband the next time we come back I want to stay on Paradise Island. We almost picked the Atlantis, but the rates were way beyond our budget. So we picked the Sheraton Grand, which was right next store. Boy did I make the right choice. Along with being over priced, the Atlantis was over crowded and conjested. The Sheraton Grand was perfect. With the all-inclusive you did not have to spend a dime. The food was excellent, service outstanding, rooms clean and comfortable (what a view!). My brother and sister-in-law also stayed at the Sheraton Grand and loved it. We can't wait to return in 2005. Thank you Sheraton for making our vacation "Paradise".

When I checked into the Sheraton Grand, I read that they had recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation. For the life of me, I could not figure out where they spent the money! The facilities were all relatively old, run down and average. Bar drinks were horrible. The lobby has no character, with a noisy bar in the middle. However, the beach is fantastic. The location, right next to the Atlantis, is excellent. Just eat, drink, and socialize there, then come back to your room at the Sheraton if you must. You can spend your money at Atlantis (great restaurants and bars, casino, etc) but cannot use their pool facilities. I stayed free at the Sheraton with points, but would've been more dissapointed if I had paid cash for the room.
