Stayed at this hotel at the beginning of July with 4 kids ages 6-9 in two rooms. For those wanting to enjoy the waterpark at Atlantis, this is truly the best overall value. The hotel is across the street from the Beach Tower of the Atlantis resort - rooms are standard suites with pull out couch and small fridge. Hotel has a great pool that is a nice change from the crowds of Atlantis. Daily breakfast is standard fare. A couple of tips that I wish I knew beforehand:
The perk of getting a bracelet at Atlantis is a bit of work, you have to go to the service desk in the Royal tower each morning with your comfort suites key and pink card that they will give you upon check in. All guests of your party have to be with you in order to get your wrist bands. For the price it's still worth this inconvenience - my suggestion to avoid walking through the casino each day is to go across the street from the hotel to the Beach Tower and grab the free Atlantis shuttle to the Royal Tower (shuttle is all day ever 15 minutes) and this will save you the walk through the Casino in your bathing trunks
The hotel has a small fridge - if you can pack snacks before you arrive or have your cab driver stop at a local gas station/super market before he croses the Paridise Island (P.I.) bridge, you will save a significant amount of money - all snacks (chips/soft drinks/gatorade/water) on Atlantis are extremely expensive and even though it's a bit more effort to stock up- there's no one stopping you from doing this and take advantage of your room fridge.
The short cut to Atlantis from the Comfort Suites is on the 2nd Floor (which is actually the main floor of the hotel. The hotel has 3 or 4 floors and the elevator is not convenient - due to the amount of walking to the Pool, Atlantis, Breakast area , I would strongly suggest trying to book a room on the second floor in the 230-240 area so that you minimize your walk to Atlantis and dont have to rely on the stairs/elevator.
Breakfast is served at the main dining area but also pool side in the small cafe adjacent to the pool bar - highly recommend eating breakfast there as the main dining area is much more buiser and there's not a lot of tables, especially if you get to breakfast after 8:30
Overall - it's more work to stay here vs. staying direclty on the Atlantis resort but no matter where you stay on P.I., there's a lot of walking, especially to where the beaches/Waterpark is located so for the value, this is the best overall place to stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
