“My favorite Restaurant on the Atlantis Property!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

If you are looking to enjoy a wonderful romantic dinner for two or looking to spending a lovely evening with friends and family (kids 6 and older are allowed) then be sure to check out this restaurant when you are at Atlantis. The service is amazing. They seem to be there right when you need your glass to be refilled or to grab another drink for you at the bar. The food is outstanding. I have been here a few times already and have enjoyed both the Tuna Tartar and the Cracked Conch for appetizers. Both great but my favorite is the Tuna Tartar. Every time I come here I always get the same main course - the Local Snapper prepared with fennel, lemon and olive oil. Simple ingredients make the flavor in the dish pop. And be sure to order the souffle when you order the rest of your meal. Enough to split with another person and oh so delicious!!! Its an expensive meal but if you only have one the whole trip - make it Cafe Martinique and make sure to make a reservation a week or so in advance if you would like a specific date and time!

“Great ambiance, great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

We, a family of 5 had a great time. The atmosphere is in a beautiful building. Service was impeccable. The food was amazing. We each had the Hamachi Sashimi, the Cracked conch for appetizer and the Palm salad as well. Sashimi was amazing. For the entree, we had two kids meal items (which were good) and the tenderloin, the grouper and steak au poivre. We all thought it was well done with just enough flavors and right amount of food. Dessert was ok. Nothing spectacular or breathtaking. They also brought out some small little bite sized desserts on the house. Overall, we enjoyed the experience. Our check (we had 4 bottles of water and soft drink) came out to about $450. 15% tip is automatically added.

“Best Restaurant in Nassau”

Great place, it has a lovely and very romantic and elegant deco, the food was great! our service was good. Though it has not a very extensive menu, there is several options for everyone.

“Beautiful Dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2012

I ate at Café Martinique with my family on our vacation to Atlantis. It is a classy, more grown up get-away from the waterpark kids everywhere feel of the resort, even though it's fun. The food here was incredible. One of the best meals I've ever had. Escargot was incredible, as well as the french onion soup and heirloom tomato salad (that's what my other family members had). Everyone loved their entrées, as well. I had the dover sole almondine for my meal- they deboned it at the table in a very cool way! It was delicious. They don't really have anything for vegetarians, but they let my brother put together a side dish meal and were very accommodating. The desserts were arguably the best part! I had a chocolate souffle they baked specifically for me and it was so great, and we also got mango mousse that was awesome. The pacing of the meal is slow- it is a formal dinner, but it was perfectly timed and the service was incredible. Your water glass is never less than 2/3 full and they make sure you have everything you need Great place with a European feel, right in the Bahamas- and a good excuse to dress up! Expensive, but worth it if you're looking for a fancy dinner on your vacation. Totally recommended!
