“Plenty to keep you amused”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

There were alot of things to keep you busy and the water rides were good fun. There were plenty of pools and would be excellent for families. Food served here best value than anywhere else at the reort.

“Confusing at first, but lots of fun for everyone”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

The water park had fun slides, and a good mix of high thrill and more moderate thrill rides. After 5pm was so much less crowded, it was great, and after 6pm you could ride the Drop slide without having to go around the whole river (after 6 they close the entrance to the drop from the lazy river, so you can walk up near where the entrance to the Abyss is). I didn't like being dumped off the rapids river by a wave (doesn't seem so smart surrounded by concrete walls) but the kids didn't mind. At the waterpark, it was really hard to figure out how to find all 8 slides. 4 slides all start from one tower (The Mayan temple) but it was confusing as to which line was for which slide. The other 4 slides were really hard to find. Turns out you have to take the river on a tube to get to those slides. Two slides could be gotten to with one stop on the river from the hospitality center, but 2 slides required you to ride about 20 minutes around on the river, just to get to the slides, which are accessed by a turn off on the river. Quite confusing- good thing other patrons were very helpful to explain things to the newcomers. The staff would help when asked, but sometimes we had a hard time following their instructions.
Despite confusion, once you figure it out, the waterpark is a lot of fun.

“Great Slides and Rapid River”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

The water slides are great and the roaring or rapid river is the best I have ever been on, it is not a lazy river. Ride the tube and keep your a%s in the tube and do not let it drag. Saw a lot of bumps and bruises.
The Atlantis sells day passes to anyone, and there are usually 4 cruise ships in the harbor (soon to be 8). A lot of people outside the hotel show up and the rides and river become too crowded. Not fun. We learned though that the cruise ships usually depart around 6pm, so most are leaving right before 5pm. We went after that and rode most of the rides with a 5 minute wait at the most

“Incredible”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Very clean and incredible - go early and late to avoid the cruise ships. The Serpent ride goes through a shark tank and the Current lazy river is the longest lazy river of all time (about 20 min. which is fabulous!) Lifeguards are everywhere and it is clean and gorgeous.

“Great fun for ages 12 to 72!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Awesome water park! 'lazy' river was SO much fun. Even the 72 yr old Grandma enjoyed that ride a few times! A big plus for us was there were lots of shady areas to sit under! And of course the adventurous water loving guys from our group loved ALL the water rides.
