“You like Latin dancing? stop here.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013 via mobile

Went here on a Thursday night and they had a Latin night. Mixture of merengue, bachata, and salsa. Lots of people dancing so even if you can't, it's nice to sit back with a drink and watch the entertainment. During the evening they also get the people in the bar involved in a group lesson. Was lots of fun!

“Slow Service, Tasty Food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Perhaps it was Boxing Day, but the service was extraordinarily slow, even for Island Time. 40-45 minutes for dinner to leave the kitchen was indeed cruel. At least it tasted good. For a cafe, it was a nice menu. But beware the slow service. The waitress apologized multiple times.

“Great place to sit and watch the world go by”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

We stopped here for a drink and sat in the seats in the photo. We did not experience the friendly service but it was OK. It was worth just sitting there, enjoying the very busy world go by. It was also a spot to watch a lot of banter between locals. The cigar guy was amazing to watch and we even had one made as a present for a friend. Will go to again.

“Our favorite place in Nassau--we stopped in twice in one day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012

We had been walking a lot and were tired. As we strolled through the open-air seating, past people relaxing and laughing in comfortable looking chairs, past a gentleman rolling and selling cigars, we were overcome with a strong desire to sit. I think the gentleman hand-rolling the cigars was independent of the restaurant, but he really added to our enjoyment. We returned later with our friends, and we had some appetizers (yummy), some drinks (Goombay Smash--delicious), and more cigars. It was so nice to sit outside, feel the breeze, and take in the local atmosphere. The lady who seemed to be managing later in the day when we came back was very friendly, and we observed that she was benevolent to a local individual who was hungry; we were pleased to see the kindness that was extended.
