“Handy for lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Good freshly made food. Something different everyday. Portions on the small side, if you are really hungry. Quality is very good. Freshly baked bread and yummy breakfasts on Saturdays. When it is busy you will have to queue to place your order. Best to order ahead. Seating available with limited tableside service.

“Actually French Touch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

The owner is French Canadian and has the french amenities like croissants. The staff is friendly. Things are a little expensive though.

“Sorry about the wait!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

I tried this restaurant for a takeout lunch today.
It is an interesting menu but a bit pricey for everyday lunch.
I ordered one of the daily specials and sat to wait. After I had been there about 10 minutes no food had come out of the kitchen for anyone and yet there were a number of customers waiting to eat in plus 4 or 5 takeouts ahead of me.
Then the counter guy starts handing food to customers who had phoned in saying "Sorry about the wait". After 25 minutes my takeaway arrived accompanied by "Sorry about the wait"!
It was a dish, but as I said pricey almost $16 for a shrimp spring roll and salad and a little short on the shrimp!
All in all would I go there again, yes, but only if I was eating in and had plenty of time. It may have been a bad day and you have to forgive that but not when you have to get back to work!

“New Menu Every Day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2012

This small local eatery's cuisine can't really be described, for their menu changes every day. Seriously. Regulars get sent an e-mail every morning, listing the different options for lunch. Could be Bahamian, Greek, Indian - or anything else. That means, the food is always fresh, but more importantly, it's usually very yummy.

For the creatures of habit, there's a few standard lunch sandwiches, but most locals come precisely for the daily specials.

Lunch only, except Saturday brunch. Which is awesome, though your cardiologist may disagree. ;-)

At least one vegetarian option every day.

“Nice but expensive for what you get”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2012

My wife and I popped in for a nice breakfast as she needed a treat. She does not have a big appetite so she ordered a one egg omelette with tomato and cheese. I ordered egg salad on a baguette; we both had coffee and she had an orange juice. The food was clearly made to order and was very tasty and enjoyable. We were just a little shocked with the bill. A one egg omelette was just under $10 and then the fillings were extra, making it close to $12. All in all, a nice place, good food just a little expensive.
