“Impeccable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

We were there on a day pass on Dec 21 (we were staying at the Compass Point Hotel and needed to escape airplane traffic). Everything was perfect. The service is amazing. The staff is always available to help and extremely professional.

“Winter Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

My husband and I recently spent a week at the resort for some much needed relaxtion time. We didn't know what to expect since it was our first time to a Sandals Resort, but I can tell you we were not disappointed. The staff was Amazing, the weather was perfect, food was fantastic and the people on the island were wonderful. We will definately be going again and have already scheduled a trip to one of the St. Lucia Sandals resorts. We can definately say we got what we went for in regards to relaxation and time to ourselves and heck being pampered at the spa made it even better. Enjoy your trip.

Room Tip: Definately get the conceierge service and a view of the ocean, it is so relaxing...

“Been twice, cant wait to go again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

We went there for honeymoon and then again 6 months later.

The food is OUTSTANDING. I ate caviar for breakfast every morning. Even the Italian restaurant was great, the lamb chops were the best I have ever had.

The Resort is totally secure and the staff are very warm and accommodating. First-rate service.

There is always something to do. We planned on seeing the island but were so comfortable at the resort that we never left.

My whole life I have loved to travel and see new places, but now I feel like I just want to see this place again and again.

Room Tip: The new building has better views.

“Wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

My husband and I stayed from 1 - 12 December - it was wonderful! The staff could not do enough for you. We were upgraded from a basis room to a Concierge room as we were celebrating our 25th Anniversary. The food in the restaurants was excellent – especially the Duck in the Baccarat Restaurant – Yes at times the air conditioning seemed too cold, but we were going from a lovely humid night into an air conditioned restaurant (take a cardigan)! Drinks – excellent – special thanks to Fluffy & Cupcakes in the Piano Bar who kept our glasses full and us laughing throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a lovely relaxing holiday, with excellent food, drinks and service thrown in for good measure.

“Best of the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

It’s so hard to get in everything that is so good about Sandals Bahamas in brief but I’ll try my best...

GOOD POINTS
- Friendly and attentive staff, offering superb customer service
- Wide choice of food and entertainment
- Wonderful private island
- Quiet and relaxing

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
- VisitIing the private island
- Trying Baccarat for breakfast and dinner
- Visiting down town Nassau to pick up some souvenirs and sample local restaurants e.g.: the poop deck
- Buying a rum cake
- Trying a rum punch cocktail at spice restaurant.
- Experiencing the Casanova pool party

BAD POINT
Lots of daily activities on but they are poorly advertised; a daily news letter sent to your room would be a good idea.

Sandals is possibly the best resort that I have ever stayed in. From start to finish it was absolute perfection.

One thing to note is that this is an all inclusive in every sense of the word, there is no limit to your fun and enjoyment.

From check in you are offered champagne and shown to your room which is situated in a neat villa style setting (Royal village).

The rooms are very spacious, have with a patio, small lounge are come with a free mini bar complete with bottles of vodka, rum, beer, champagne and whisky, ideal for that long flight over or a quiet night in.

The complex itself is well designed with everything to make your holiday relaxing, it has multiple swimming pools: two main large pools and mini pools scattered amongst the complex that are more scheduled but all are just less than five minutes from your accommodation.

If you are big foodie like myself then your needs are more than fulfilled with ten restaurants to choose from offering a great variety of foods from French to Japanese.

As for breakfast that is simply amazing with a massive selection of cereals, fruit, pastries and freshly cooked breakfasts just remember to get there early if you do want a cooked breakfast as the omelettes are very popular.

A handful of restaurants require you to a reserve a table (Crystal room, Baccarat, Cafe Goombay, Kimonos, Casanova) and its best to do so on your first day to avoid disappointment. Here are a few things to note about the restaurants:

Crystal room – Is very cold (temperature) and has the least exciting menu

Kimonos – Allows you to dine in close quarters with 10 other strangers on a semi-circle table with a chef in the centre, so it can be a bit unsettling or fun depending the other that dine with you.

Spices – Does a great selection of food but you have to try their spiced chicken and order a rum punch.

Baccarat – A brilliant setting offering a classy breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend the mahi-mahi, lamb rack, apple tart.

Casanova – Hold a musical pool party with a great selection of salads, cakes and grilled meats, don’t miss this!

If relaxing is more your thing then there is a spa offering a variety of treatments and there are many sun loungers available all over the complex and on the long stretching golden sandy beach where you can top up your tan. There are even some jacuzzi's about where you can kick back, one is adjacent to a swim up bar for a quick drink if the heat gets too intense.

The private island is a great place to relax too, as it has its own pool, spa area and offers a really serene environment.

For the more active people there is a gym (usually empty) equipped with free weights, resistance machines, cardio machines and offers a great view of the complex and the private island.

There are also many games that can be played such as shuffle board, volleyball on the beach, tennis, basketball and a host of water sports on offer. If you’re looking for a challenge you can even have one of the staff to act as your personal trainer to improve your skills or make them sweat.

One thing that has to be noted is that the staff at Sandals are amazing they are friendly, funny and entertaining. Everyone says hello when they see you and make a conscious effort to remember you and greet you by name in some cases.

Plus they never allow your glass to run dry and make the effort to introduce themselves and attend to your needs, the level of customer service is impeccable.

If I could afford to go to Sandals every year I would as it is a place that will fulfil your every desire.

Room Tip: Go for the royal village, they are less occupied, loos stunning and are more romantic than the other...
