“Needs TLC & better customer service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

Stayed here overnight on way to San Sal. This wasn't that great - even for a budget hotel. (By Canadian standards)
Service wasn't anything to write home about! A laisse fair - don't give a darn - type attitude from the moment you walk in. Front desk couldn't find my reservation and just let me stand there and worry for 10 minutes without saying something like...."Don't worry there must be some explanation" Well anyway they checked me in and the hotel needs work. The halls to the rooms are very run-down. The room wasn't too bad - once I got in! The key didn't work so I had to go all the way back. The elevator took forever. The balcony(european) door didn't work. The view was nice. A little commercial as the traffic on the main street out front was crazy! The water had a lot of commercial shipping activity. Nassau is crowded, noisy and as the security gaurd said - Its not safe! So don't leave the hotel on your own and start walking around. Naive people will get into trouble. There seemed to be a lot of locals hanging around the outside of the hotel. Room service was terrible. I had the continental breakfast in the morning. Coffee was out of a machine and terrible. Anyway if this is the average budget hotel in Nassau - I won't be back! It seems that a lot of locals stayed at the hotel. The pool area is not great. There was the hot-tub below my room and the pool was on the other side. I would not go in either. The deck area was dirty and in desperate need of cleaning and painting. Good luck! I would rather go to Cuba - at least the service is better and the place is clean! Oh and the cabbie didn't come back for me as was scheduled. Thanks! I had to flag down another.

Room Tip: Ocean view is better

“Nice hotel, great view, close to city centre”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2012

We stayed here 3 nights in march 2012. The room was clean, we had a great ocean view. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel is in walking distance of the city centre.
Great value for your money.

Room Tip: Ask for ocean view.

“chehh”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012

5 nights in this hotel were a horror. The room was not only unclean, but a danger to health, the carpet and chairs were more than dirty, disgusting. The pool area caused black feet. The continental breakfast consists of coffee from a maschine, pieces of toasts, jam and cream cheese.
When checking out, the hotel did not respect the guaranteed rate ("all taxes and service charges included"), but added room tax, resort levy, maid charge and energy charge, in total $ 22 surcharge by night !

“Price Matches Experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012

If you need to stay in Nassau for the lowest price and don't mind basic accomdations then you have chosen the right hotels. Most hotels in Nassau/Paradise island average over $200 a night. This hotel costs around $90 and you get what you pay for. 2 star at best

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2012

I was very disappointed with the lack of service by each member of the hotel staff whom I encountered. Whether it was front desk, restaurant, bartender, or even the gift shop, they were all miserable, rude & inconsiderate.
Furthermore, although breakfast was included in the overall pricing, the options were extremely limited. Even the fruits served tasted horrible: being neither succulent nor sappy.
Aside from its location, there's not alot to like about this hotel property.
