“Cruise Excursion with Disney Cruise Line”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Our group of four grand parents, our children, son and daughter in law and their three children ages 2, 4 and 6. The wildlife is beautiful, we saw the dolphins without paying for the encounter. Their were lots of fish, shell fish, birds and foliage to enjoy. We had a nice lunch. There were clean bathrooms, a gift shop, lockers, plenty of lounge chairs and very calm water, The children loved playing in the sand, on rafts, tubes and noodles. Such a beautiful slow paced way to enjoy an island off Nassau, Bahamas. I would definitely recommend this for young families.

“Dolphin Encounter was great but rest of island was just OK”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

We were a party of 4 and felt the Dolphin encounter was quite well done. We did a lot with "Clifton" our dolphin: kissing, petting, hugging and dancing. Although some of was set up more to take photos & videos they could sell it still was worth the price.

But the rest of the Island while beautiful was a disappointment. They want to charge for just about everything. The water is nice but a bit shallow for adults.

One of the better activities we did was to walk behind the encounter area to watch them training dolphins. That was almost more interesting then the dolphin encounter and free to watch.

It did take quite a long time to ride the shuttle boat out to the Blue Lagoon (35 min each way) so on a 1 day cruise stop this will be your only shore activity you will have time for. Those on the Disney Cruise going to Castaway Cay can limit their beach time at Blue Lagoon as Castaway provides a much nice beach experience.

“DOLPHIN SWIM”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

This attraction was defitinely one of the best things I had done in my life. My fiance and I had chosen to do the dolphin swim and we loved it. You get to interact with the dolphins for about 45 minutes and the instructors were great. At first I was a little nervous but after being in the water that easily went away. You get to dance with the dolphins, swim, feed, and kiss them. Also at the end everyone gets to do a foot push across the water. Only thing is the dolphin swim is a bit pricey it was 185 per person but in my opinion worth every dollar! Also the pictures can be expensive, they start at about 25$ and go all the way to about 177$ (which is what we paid). Although the pictures were expensive they took very good shots that were worth the price. They also let you bring a waterproof camera if you have one. The dolphin swim was quite an experience. We LOVED IT!

“A little crowded but Pretty”

I reccomend going to the beach side if you want to see any fish. The lagoon is pretty - but isn't something to do long term.

“Beautiful Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Go earlier in the day, didn't realize you can spend the whole day at the lagoon. Dolphin encounter was great, just dissapointed we didn't have more time to enjoy all the other activites available at the lagoon.
