“Beautiful beach/not many fish”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

We were told this was one of the better places to go snorkeling - better than Cinnamon or Trunk Bays.

There were very few fish to see, though we did see one sea turtle.

Parking may be difficult.

The beach itself is beautiful.

“great beach with easy access”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Beach is beautiful, parking is fairly plentiful. Only downside it is very popular. Get there early for a prime spot with shade.

“Loved This Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

We spent the day checking out the beaches on St John having come over on the car barge from St. Thomas. it was a windy day and we were seeking a calm beach. Most of the beaches faced the wind but Maho Beach is sheltered by the points of land that surround it. It's also farther away from Cruz Bay than some of the more popular beaches so it's less crowded. We loved it here and if you are looking for a nice relaxing day, this is the place to be.

“Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

It is the farthest beach from Cruz Bay (ferry stop) but well worth the taxi ride, which is a great tour of the island. We saw some turtles, lemon sharks and schools of fish just yards off the sand. Pack a cooler, pack some chairs and enjoy paradise.

“Gorgeous like all of the beaches here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

A must on St. John to stop at all of the beaches and see as much of the natural park beauty as you can. Tranquil water soft sand gets a crowd midday but is quiet early and later with sunset across St. Thomas
