the beach was fine. ...it was easy drive-up beach. there were picnic tables for lunch. many more people than the other beaches. a homeless woman approached us about getting a ride in to town. not much for snorkeling, but the swimming was good.
I saw two tortoises and a shark and many other wonderful things. The crowd at the beach seemed to have more local families than other beaches we visited.
Great spot to have an all day picnic. Literally sit feet from the crystal clear water and gaze at the beautiful surroundings. Small Lemon Shark swam up and down the beach all day, fish everywhere. Shade when you need it and bathrooms too. Very chill spot indeed, do not miss.
This is a wonderful, natural beach. We spent just a few minutes at Maho beach to watch the sunset before continuing on from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay. There is a convenient but small parking lot across the street from the beach.
Simply amazing beach with crystal clear waters through which one can easily view, with the naked eye, fish, turtles, and rays. If you have ever dreamed of a perfect tropical beach, this is one that will fulfill your expectations. Bring something to float on and spend a lazy day reading and floating under the sun and frolicking in the 84 degree water - bring snorkle gear too. Enjoy!
