Cost wise the price was high however the price was soon forgotten. The view of the channel was stunning. The accomodations in our loft accomodation was the largest and most relaxing ever (we travel a lot). The snorkeling on the island is the best in the Caribbean and is very very good directly in front of the resort. Only drawback is attached restuarant is overrated.
We would definatley go back.

GP was great for our second honeymoon vacation away from the cold midwest. The kitchen was top notch with stainless steel applicances and granite countertops. The local staff were very friendly, more than most locals usually are, and they responded to our needs promptly. The only complaint is that the bed linens are not very luxurious and not on par with the rest of the accomodations. Don't come here if you expect to be waited on by the pool for drinks; rather you need to always bring your own. But the hammocks and beach with snorkeling are some of the best on the island you won't mind not having drinks served to you or the lukewarm hot tub!
Have dinner one night at Las Tapas and lunch and the balcony!

First time there and it was just fantastic. Great rooms, views are the best, and the staff was so kind and friendly that we hated to leave. Really worth the $plurge.

We enjoyed our stay at the Gallows. The view was amazing! We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. We had a few small problems with ants and low water pressure, but overall had a pleasant experience. I liked being able to walk to town instead of renting a car. Many of the restaurants are closed this time of year, including the one at Gallows. We didn't mind since there were fewer people on the island (no crowds). We had perfect weather. Just a few short showers during the day and night.
