Just returned from beautiful St. John and Coconut Coast Villas.
These rooms are not fancy, but are comfortable, clean, and
walking distance to town, which is what we like. The bedding
and towels could use some updating, but other than that a
great value for the price.

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, we booked at Coconut Coast for our fourth trip to St. John. We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay within walking distance to town and it met our needs. It has a small kitchenette, and although we didn't cook, the refrigerator was great for keeping drinks, fruit, water, cheese, etc. The accommodations are dated and could use some "sprucing-up", but the place was clean. Nancy (the owner) and Sara were very helpful with restaurant recommendations (like La Tapa), as well as different ways for walking into town, depending on where you're heading (St. John is hilly, so you will have to climb some). The villas supply chairs, beach towels and coolers, which is nice for trips to the various beaches. Be sure to rent a car for a few days to see all the island has to offer. Although the accommodations are basic, it was a quiet location and the sound of the water lapping the beach outside our room was wonderful. I've already recommended it to friends who are going to St. John and, if we're travelling by ourselves, we'll stay here again.

We found this place on the web and that can be a problem because we expected so much more. It was too far from the city and the owners were really unwilling to help much. They were mostly gone and when we did see them they had no time to answer any questions, This surprized us, everyone else on the island seemed so nice.

Only had one night at Coconut Coast before a week in a house on St John, but the efficiencies are very comfortable, clean and the staff are extremely accomodating. The staff were very responsive with inquiries and details about our final travel arrangements. Enjoyed the top floor unit with the constant breeze and sound of the surf. Thanks Nancy.

This was my first time me or my parents had ever been to the Caribbean. We are SO glad we decided to stay on St. John. St Thomas was nice but St. John was better in almost every way.
We were on a budget and searching for a place to stay when we found Cocount Cost here on Trip Advisor. We stayed for one week in the two bedroom unit. It was plenty big for the three of us and was clean and comfortable. It wasn't like a suite at the Ritz but you aren't paying for that. What you do get is a nice comfortable place to relax after a long day on one of St.John's AMAZING beaches. All of the units at Coconut Coast have balcony's with amazing views that look out over the Caribbean sea which is at most 50 feet away and some units even less. Check out some of my pictures to see what the view looks like. Going to sleep and waking up hearing the small turquoise waves break is something I am never going to forget. All rooms had ceiling fans and both bedrooms had air conditioning that kept the place very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans and just about every utensil you could find in a kitchen store. This made it very easy to cook in a few nights. They also have a gas grill out by the small pool that while we were there was quite busy in the early evening. One of the few complaints I have was that the floors are tile and our neighbors above us could be heard walking. The owners John and Nancy were very kind and helpful when needed. It is a bit of a walk into town and there are some hills involved so be prepared, however it shouldn't be a problem for most people. I have no problem recommending Coconut coast to anyone.

P.S. I have a problem sleeping if I see any nasty creepy crawlys indoors and am very happy to tell you I saw none :) Just a stray mosquito.
