Husband and I went on Bad Kitty Thanksgiving 2008 and had a great time. From the moment you board, they keep your glass filled with Juice or their awesome Painkillers.
They met us at Red Hook and crossed the channel over to pick up more guests at the Westin dock and then we were on our way to the Baths. Great cruise along Tortola. After arriving at Virgin Gorda, we wound up rushing through and encountering loads of cruise boat visitors. Not Bad Kitty's fault, just be prepared for the crowds. Baths were beautiful, wish we had more time to relax and absorb the atmosphere there but it was off to Cooper Island for lunch.
After a great lunch on Cooper Island, we headed to Norman Island for some snorkeling at the Caves. My husband was a big fan of this area. A lot of fish and coral and you can go into these caves that are over the water. We then headed towards Jost Van Dyke and the Soggy Dollar Bar. This beach has a real laid back vibe and again, I wish I could have spent more time there. They have a kitchen if you want a snack. There are hammocks on the beach and you can just lay there until the Bad Kitty horn wakes you from your late afternoon slumber signaling that it's time to go. Definitely try the Vanilla Painkiller at the Soggy Dollar Bar, it's very good.
This is a great trip for those who want to get just a taste of a few BVIs. Definitely much too rushed to get any true sense of any of the Islands but it was still a great day on the boat. I had more than my fill of painkillers.
