“Great Sunday Brunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2009

Thanks to advice on here we arrived before 10 am on Sunday and got one of the last tables.

The brunch was a order off breakfast menu. Most items were 10$ and came with potatoes and fruit. I had oscar eggs Benedict, and my husband had pina colada pancakes, both were good. Great presentation on plate. We had key lime pie that was scrumptious.

There was a Jazz player that added to dining experience.

“Love Miss Lucy's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2009

We have been to Miss Lucy's several times for lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere and food every time. Located right on the water, the views are gorgeous and the setting is very "island" style with goats walking around the parking lot and sometimes coming to visit the tables! This past trip we decided to try the famous Sunday Brunch. The setting of course was great and the live music was a nice touch. The actual food I prefer better at lunch than their brunch menu - but it was still very good. Miss Lucy passed away last year but her establishment is still alive and well in St. John and is a must visit. We are still hoping to plan a trip sometime soon where we can go to the Full Moon Party at Miss Lucy's - I've heard it's a blast.

“An Overrated and Overstated Experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2008

We heard that this was "The Place" to have a meal and so we trekked cross-island for Sunday Brunch. The menu was unimaginative -- how may ways can you serve eggs on an english muffin? -- apparently, several. That was brunch -- not terribly expensive, but how much would you pay for an expensive egg mcmuffin without the cheese? The service was also less than inspring. The meal was not worth the drive, but that said, the drive itself was fantastic. The views were awesome. Save yourself the disappointment by packing a good bottle of wine, a bagguette, some brie.. or whatever pleases you... and stop any number of other places with a view. You don't need the cook, the waitress who could care less, or the guests puffing away on cigarettes as if they were alone in this world. Not on our list to go back to.

“Good Meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2008

We happened to eat here on a Friday night before they shut down on Saturday night for 2 months. To start off they were out of several menu items. We did enjoy the Feta Stuffed Chicken, The Crab Cakes and the Sushi Grade Tuna dishes. The one disappointment was the Paella. It was very dry that night. We have had much better waitresses on the island. She kept on saying : "6 more hours to work" lol

this is one of the best places in St. John , period.. If you can only dine once during your stay try their famous Sunday Brunch or if your lucky to be there during a full moon, they have a full moon party....
