“Shall not go here again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

Ate here on Saturday 11th May ordered Tandoori mixed grill to start what actually came was a jacket potato with curry on it, curried cauliflower and some unrecognisable bits when we explained this wasn't what we ordered he confirmed it was right. 45 minutes later they came to tell me my main wasn't available tandoori cod so I had king prawns instead 40 minutes later food came after my husbands, sauce and nan bread were missing the whole experience was appalling it was very noisy, music loud, people shouting to be heard. This cost £50 was a rip off couldn't wait to leave. would not recomend

“Feast”

The food was hot and fresh, the service was very good but only one chap at first so a bit slow, menu well covered, staff extremely polite. Would eat there again and enjoy.

“One long night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

Got there at 7:30 for a friends birthday. Waiter tipped wine on the table, apologised but didn't come back to wipe up. Order taken at 7:45 and food finally arrived at 9:45! By that time we were offered to buy loads of drinks. Ended up spending a lot on alcohol and couldn't properly taste the food. Also a group up stairs were messing around with food and some fell down but nothing happened.

Good tasting food, very slow service! But has good potential

“Marvellous Mango”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is a hidden gem of an Indian restaurant located in Cefn Coed which is a little village in Merthyr Tydfil. It has recently opened but it's great reputation is spreading fast.

The decor is clean and all warm woods and mocha paint with little alcoves. The service is quick and the waiters are very smartly dressed and always willing to help.

We have visited twice and on both visits, even though the restaurant was busy, the food was brought to the table very quickly and was of an impeccable standard.

Although the prices are slightly above the average for an Indian restaurant - this is reflected in the quality of the food. The starters, mains and sides are all freshly cooked to order and taste divine.

I can recommend this as one of the best Indian restaurants that we have frequented.
