“Sangria's at the Elysian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2014

We have eaten at Sangria's several times while staying at the Elysian. Great thin crust pizza, fresh salads, delicious Italian sub and their French fries are delicious. Nice to have a reasonably priced restaurant at the resort, eat in and enjoy the view of the bay or take out and relax in your room.

“Hell no”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2014

No, no, no... They have gloves, use them. We sat at the bar, overlooking the cooking station, two cooks, no gloves, picking zits, the other scratching body parts, drinking, over the latex gloves, touching all the food as they preped it. We left with drink in hand.

We ate here several times, always good food, but watching this, as Amy Whinwhouse would say, I say no, no, no.

Just getting drinks... Highly recommended, great view of the bay.

Hopefully this review is noticed by the owner to please check on this condition.

“Pool bar ROCKS!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

Visited the pool bar... Christie was extremely attentive with a great sense of humor. She makes the best Bushwacker. The view is amazing. We ordered food... Burgers are tasty. Good times!

“Good Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

We visit St. Thomas each January for the past 10 years to escape the cold of the north. This is a newer restaurant on the resort for the past 2 years. Everything we have had is always enjoyable and reasonable priced. Nice atmosphere to sit while have a light lunch or dinner and listening to the water on the beach. Would refer other people to try this restaurant.

“Fresh ingredients, awesome location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014

We were staying at the Elysian, and we were so pleased to have such a high quality, casual restaurant at the resort, right on the beach. We ate here several times and our meal was always great! All of the ingredients are really fresh, with most of the sauces made on site. Gyro, sandwiches, burger and pizzas were all delicious. The prices are really reasonable - many times we ditched cooking and just came here instead for the great food. Can't beat the view either - beautiful beach and water. If you are in the area, definitely worth a visit.
