“One of th emost beautiful beaches in St Thomas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Spent 2 days at Magens Bay Beach. Each time we set a time that we would leave for the day and we just could not stand to leave it. The colors of the water, the views of the villas high in the hills, the warmth of the water itself. Because of the time of the year it was not very crowded. Does have a nice bar and beach food right on the beach as well as a nice gift shop. Chairs can be rented as well as floaters. Also available at one end of the beach are various water sports equipment for rental. The opposite end of the beach is great for snorkeling. Hated, hated, hated to LEAVE

“Gorgeous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Is there anywhere more idealistic than this beach?
It is truly beautiful here, the beach is powder white, the sea a lovely shade of green and blue not to mention so warm its like walking into a bath.
There is a nominal charge for useing this beach but I am sure most people will agree the $4-5 charge is well worth it!!!
Other facilities include a beach bar, gift shop and non motorised watersport hire.

“A Must See in St. T”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

This a very beautiful beach with very clear and calm water (at least when we where there). Snorkeling is great - we saw many turtles, different types of fish, and schools of small fish that hung around the shallow water. This is a territorial park with a $5 per person admittance fee.

The park has a food takeout and a bar, and some water sport rentals available as well. It is a very long beach, but it is a very popular destination with the cruise ships and can be very crowded in the mornings when there a number of ships in the harbor. But these normally clear out by 1:00 for ships leaving before 6.

We also found that the temperature is about 5 degrees cooler than on the south side of the island.
